  • I use the Almond coconut milk. Low calories and much better flavor. I do use 1 scoop of Whey protein, with 6 oz/s of the milk and 4 of water. Only drink it every other day.
  • Once you are in your 40's, everything changes for men and women. At that stage, your working out becomes more work and your eating habits become more of a focus! Good luck and hope you concur your goals.
  • The healthiest and safest way is to lose weight naturally. It's not easy changing your eating habits, but, well worth it in the long run. You can eat all the foods you like, just count the calories. You can cheat once in a while, I go off and eat a ton of calories every Friday because that's my take out night. Balancing…
  • I lost 18 lbs last year using MFP then stopped last June and just started back up last month. It's a great site to track and get support!
  • I am not a newbie to MFP nor to college. I am going on 47 next month and am a Junior at Southern NH University.
  • I am now 46, going on 47 in April. Back when I was 29, I developed an eating disorder, (Anorexia) Never got ill from it, but got so thin, I looked like skin on bones. I seen a counselor who specialized in eating disorders. She wanted to give me meds, I refused. She told me to start keeping a daily journal of daily events,…
  • They have found out who this little boy is and have his mother in custody. She is from Irving Texas. http://www.thebostonchannel.com/index.html

  • I have tried to lose weight for three years now and have not been successful until MFP! Great support and free! The food data base is great and if it weren't for MFP, I would not have lost 14 lbs so far!
  • What is your calorie allotment per day? If you could open your diary, we may be able to help more. Are you eating enough calories a day?
  • Welcome to MFP, you are going to love this site!

  • If it's a negative, your are eating way too much, it means you've gone over your allotment.
  • I have had 2 c-sections and my doctor told me that you will never get rid of it because all of your muscles were cut. She told me that you could get it to be smaller but it will always be there. Your muscles have been torn and cut, so they do not have the elasticity and norm that the rest have. As far as the FUPA, my…
  • I goofed. March 1st- 146 April 1st- 136 44 years old If I make this challenge, I will be 1 lb away from my goal!
  • I didn't meet the 5 llb challenge in February, but I'll give it a shot. March 1st- 146 lbs April 1st- 141 lbs Let's go!

  • My question here is should I be eating at least 1200 NET?
  • My daily goal is 1250 and exercise was 321. That totals 1571 for my daily goal So far I have eaten 1479 which leaves me with 92 calories left. My net shows (1158)?
  • I didn't meet my goal. Feb 1st 148.6 Feb 28th 146 2.6 lbs in a month. That is so discouraging!
  • I continue to exercise even if I dont feel like it. Very fatigue and don't work out as usual, but every calorie burned helps! Hopefully by this Sunday (weigh day) I will be done. Tom is so inconsistent these days, you never know!
  • I think if I gave up my nightly wine, I would see a bigger difference, but I want to enjoy life and the things that I enjoy. That's part of life, we have to sacrifice some things for another. I dont go hungry but I enter my wine for dinner before my breakfast! :o)
  • Nicole, you will succeed here, I did. I haven't been able to lose more than 2 lbs in the last three years until joining MFP. It's sooooooo motivating. Good luck and keep us posted.
  • I guess the 22 lbs I gained over the last 3 years seems to be all in the belly but it really isn't. It's the last place to lose so if you notice any little difference at all, you're on the right track!~
  • Welcome! You will find a lot of answers here and GREAT support. I have gained over 20 lbs in the last 3 years and haven't been able to get under 150 until this site! You will love it!
  • I've lost 8 lbs so far. did notice a slight difference in belly fat, but not as much as I thought losing 8 lbs. It takes time, I guess.
  • Give it a few days. Had the same discouragement a couple weeks ago, but then I lost 3.6 pounds. Keep doing what you are doing and don't let it get you down. Have you been exercising too? That helps A LOT with everything. Good luck to you :) Yes, i exercise 5 times a week, burning a minimum of 300 calories, weekends, 600.
  • My problem is the outer thigh and glutes! Suggestions?
  • Well, a little more information is needed here. How many calories are you supposed to have per day? How many calories extra are from exercise? 700 is an awful lot to have left over. I've seen a few on here how don't eat enough of their exercise calories and dont lose weight because they read their plateau and throw their…
