  • I don't eat as many calories as what they ask. Just to update starting week 3 lean, core work done for today. Cardio tomorrow, hope I can do it after going to see Santana tonight.
  • Some progress: Starting weight 254 Body fat 41 Today: Weight 246 Body fat 35 I am not noticing much except my pants are loser and I need to notch another hole in my belt
  • I start week 3 on Saturday. Doing the lean program before moving on to the Classic.
  • Did Kenpo today, have tomorrow as a rest day. I am exhausted this week so I know I won't stretch in the morning maybe do it later in the day when I get home. Week 3 starts Saturday. Looking forward to it.
  • I do a recovery drink made by Vega Sport. No dairy, gluten, soy, all plant based and it is so good. I love their products.
  • I tend to do the stretches since I"m not very flexible. Not quite on the same schedule as others, and I am doing the lean routine, ditched Yoga X for Tony's fountain of youth yoga which is 48 minutes rather than 90. Friday will mark the end of week 2 but starting to feel it this week.
  • Is it too late to join? I started the program on June30th so I'm basically right on track with you. Thanks
  • I started week 2 of P90X yesterday. Count me in to get me through the next 30 days.
  • check out craigslist or kijiji. I got the complete p90x package for $45.00
  • That's what I do because of a low ceiling pull up bars can't mount to my door frames. Start slowly, buy some dumbells and some bands for the pull ups with a door hook. I have 5, 8 10 15 20 25 lb dumbells and that's been enough so far. going to get 30 lb next. Got a complete set of 6 resistance bands for 16 on sale and they…
  • The best testing is done by eliminating the foods (IMO). Having eliminated gluten from my diet I can tell you if I had some within an hour. I can completely feel it. My manger did the diet and when gluten come back she said she felt it as well. A lot of people have sensitivities but dont know it.
  • Chop up some avocado (god's butter) and add some more veggies. A little tomato some cucumber. Rainbow. Lean cuisine and other processed foods are not good. But congrats on cutting back on the food intake, I would up the exercise and the calories.
  • If it looks good I will comment, if it looks bad, I shuddup. That's the way I roll.
  • I have been travelling and trying to do them in a hotel room sucks. I either need larger rooms or shorter legs. I seriously need to hit the gym now that I am home. Eating out all the time doesn't help. It is time to rock on.
  • Posted this elsewhere on the thread. Re post: I think we all need to step up. Trying and failing is better than no trying at all. I started this thread so let's go all out. I am going to start P90X. Do I have any volunteers? I have done a bit and it has killed me. Cleared floor space in my living room and it will happen.…
  • Sorry Gentlemen I have been away. I will step on the scale tomorrow. I really hope I am still under 255. I got so close to my goal of 250 for the end of the year. I really need to start hitting the gym and shortly P90X. I think we need a P90X group here. I know we won't get ripped but I think if a lot of us commit there…
  • I have been sick, but ended the year at 251. Should have been a lot better, but I'll take 36 pounds for the year as ok. It's sad only because I was 256 in March. Next goal 225. Let's go everyone, I know the weather and that is taking people down but we can do this.
  • This. Change your eating habits and even do it slowly. Start week one by saying I am going to eat one salad every day (leave off the processed dressings). Week two I will drink xxx water and increase it by xxx every week until I get to xxx. Week 3 I will eat vegetarian 1 day a week. Week 4 I won't eat cookies or sweets. I…
  • I looked at it, but I have tried to eliminate wheat from my diet and feel a lot better already. After reading wheat belly, I am not sure I really want to eat that stuff. I don't eat much dairy, and red meat isn't part of my diet. I rarely eat processed foods. Personally one of the best things I think I did for myself was…
  • Maybe I am old fashioned, I have a notebook and a pen and log it when I work out.
  • I have but generally prefer smaller petite women. Sometimes us bigger guys are seen like a teddy bear, who ladies just want to hold and cuddle. I "generally" don't have any problems with women, however I want to lose weight for me, not them. I don't want to be down around 175 which is what my BMI says is normal. When I was…
  • Didn't make it for Christmas but hit 251 today. Thanks for all the work everyone put in.
  • I did 1 hour of it the other day. God I felt it. I will tackle it when I come back from Vegas on Jan. 9. I did a lot of do what I can and forget the rest.
  • Almost got my Christmas present. Was 251 this morning and my goal was 250. Hopefully by Saturday I can drop that 1 extra pound and be there.
  • I stepped on the scale this morning and was 251, which means I lost a few pounds over Christmas.
  • Hang in there Tim, I lost a good Friend last weekend. 66 and a heart attack. Still remember us partying in Vegas in 2010. Amazing how quickly things change. I am looking forward to 2012 and reaching all the goals I missed in 2011. Keep strong brother.
  • I plan to not pay attention on Christmas day. But will probably start P90X the day after. I want to get 2 weeks of it in before I hit Vegas as I know that is going to derail me for a few days.
  • Don't mind groups but I don't run. I walk 3 miles a day but it takes a lot to make me run.
  • I am up a bit so far this week. Been a rough week with Christmas party's, work and personal stuff. Right now just want to get this month over with. Looking forward to a fresh start in 2012. Was almost 290 this time last year, 254.5 this morning. Feel like I should be a lot lower but overall not to bad.
  • This has been great. I lot of great recipes have been shared. Will probably do this again early in the new year.
