  • Great. I can do all of those!! Anyone else want to throw in their 2 cents worth??
  • That sounds about right with TDEE calculations. I was losing at a nice rate with MFP's suggestion and eating back exercise, but then it stopped....flat-lined.... So I started TDEE-30%. Some people recommend moving up to your new goal gradually, but I just went for it. A few days into TDEE way of calculating, I lost another…
  • Eat more. It seems like it would add weight, or stall out weight loss more, but you are hundreds under your goal many days.
  • Went to their website, clicked on where to buy, and now you can enter your zip code, or whatever it' called in Canada, and see if anywhere near you sells them. Good luck! http://www.fritolay.com/our-snacks/where-to-buy.html
  • I like any of the spray on ones....can't stand the lotion feel...Neutrogena is great, especially the Ultra Sheer, as well as Banana boat spray on ones. I have even used store brands of the spray on ones, and these I like as well. For my face, I tend to use the Neutrogena Ultra sheer lotions. But I have also sprayed the…

  • Turkey (or beef) jerky, protein, low fat... apple and peanut butter, yogurt, a smaller serving of leftovers from a previous night? (Who says breakfast has to be breakfast foods ;) ) cottage cheese, with or without fruit, string cheese
  • Haddock! Cod and Talapia are pretty good as well. And I can't stand anything that smells fishy.
  • With TDEE you don't eat back the exercise calories....they are already calculated into your TDEE. So TDEE-20%, and NOT eating your exercise calories. I fyou ate them back, you'd probably be back about your TDEE, therefore at maintenance, and not lose weight....
  • I like New Balance Shoes, as they come in wider widths. I have had shoes do this to me in the past, and the wider widths have helped! Good luck!
  • Polar FT4 as well!

  • Crohn's here as well. I've had it for years, but diagnosed in the last 6 months. Many limitations as well, but I'm in remission right now, so I have more choices than when I was flared up. Will add both of you. Maybe looking at each other's food diaries could help us find new recipes or ideas?
  • And Destiny's Child "Independent Woman".....Shoes on my feet, I FARTED......The clothes I'm wearing..I FARTED.....you may never hear "I bought it" again!
  • I'm 5 ft 4 inches and I chose the moderate activity level.
  • I'm leaning toward the quality and size of what he's eating....but if he was willing to try the treadmill, maybe watching a tv show while running?
  • I would not use the circuit training. I use a Heart Rate Monitor, and for level 1 shred, I usually burn 185-200 calories. I went on and clicked as if I was going to add circuit training, and for the same amount of minutes, MFP estimated that I would burn 372?!?!?! I always feel like MFP estimates high for me, but an extra…
  • Love Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred, also love her cardio kickboxing DVD.
  • I am right there with you. I am 8 weeks in and doing better with cravings, but there are still days. Stick with it, it does get easier I think. My first thought was to make a healthier pizza? I like to take flat out wraps, which are like a tortilla, and are about 100 calories, add some pizza sauce, some mozzarella cheese,…
  • Today the first person said I was looking good, that they noticed I was losing weight! My pants are fitting loser. My shirts aren't as tight. I have more stamina when walking on the treadmill. Started 8 weeks ago today, and today I was down 16 lbs. I know that part is not a NSV, but I was wondering when anyone might start…
  • I call the leg rubbing issue "chub rub." :D
  • Love me some Lane Bryant, if you have them near you?
  • Schools want proof of them if you've gotten them. There is always a little box to check that states something to the effect that for personal or religious reasons you didn't vaccinate them. Then your off the hook.
  • We do boneless skinless chicken breasts in the crock pot with marinara sauce. Throw the chicken in partially thawed, or thawed, along with a jar of marinara, and a few hours later = yum!
  • I've lost a little over 1.5 cats. Don't ask what happened to the other half of the cat....I'm still working on losing it as well. Hope it doesn't smell up the place til I can get rid of it! ;)
  • Have him leave any containers out that you could scan the barcode/enter the exact brand if he uses anything packaged?
  • I have a Polar F4 with chest strap as well and I love it. I find the machines estimate lower than I actually burn, and I burn about 150-175 walking a mile at 3.0 if that helps at all. When I work hard, I burn about 100 cal for every 10 mintues, but as someone else said too, it depends on your weight/height. I'd go with…
  • Yes. I've been at it 7 weeks and 2 days and I've lost 15 lbs, close to 16. That's 2 lbs a week. It's possible, but not easy cheesy. I have had to make sure I make my calories count, and by that I mean eat good for me things, not many empty calories. And I've been exercising 5-6-7 days a week.
  • I literally posted basically the same thread earlier this week. I am hot after exercising, and 30-60 min later, I am freezing and it lasts hours. People offered the following thoughts: get out of sweaty clothing soon after exercising, maybe low blood sugar, drinking lots of water makes you colder, setting weight loss to…
  • Depends on your weight, activity level and exercise amount. I have about 1500 per day, while being set on losing 2 lbs a week.
