Hi, I just started the 5:2, done two fast days so far. It'd be fab to have some supportive friends going though the same thing :)

I've just started this week, done one fast day so far. It really wasn't bad at all, yes i got hungry but I spread the calories out over 3 small meals so once I was rumbling I had something to eat. It has really helped me think about how often I eat when I'm not really hungry, how much of my calorie intake is snacking…

Hi, well done on the weight loss so far, that's an amazing accomplishment :) I used to be a serial weight watcher, on and off for years but even though I haven't lost a huge amount recently it's still creeping down steadily with MFP, I find the support from others on here is fantastic

Going down a size is always a fab feeling, well done you (you'll have a big grin all day) :-D
-
That's really interesting, thank you for sharing :)

You look fab, younger and happier (I just got that dress too) :-)

Mine is open to friends I think. Feel free to add me although my diary has been a bit hit and miss recently. I agree that it helps, sometimes I'll look at a friends diary and really fancy something they've had and it's often lower calorie than I think :-)

I've brought quite a lot from Dotty P's in the past, I am in fact sat here in a pair of their jeans right now I think their sizes are pretty good, I've never found them to be small anyway :)

I'm like this, one cheat leads to another, and then another, and another. Until I'm back to where I started and saying things like ' I don't know why I'm not losing weight, I'm being ever so good!'. This time round I think I have finally realised that I need to keep healthy for the rest of my life. I'll eat things that are…

I'm in the UK and part way through my MA. I put on so much weight doing my undergrad, all those hours spent sat infront of my computer snacking. I'm determined that this time will be different :)

I did day one on Monday and day two today, I really didn't think that 20mins could be so much hard work. Jumping Jacks just about kill me. No pain no gain as they say :)

Oh some sunshine would be sooooo good now, it's been so cold the last couple of days bbrrrrrr I'm in Malvern, UK, not so far from you :)

I live in Malvern at the minute but I'm in the process of moving to Llandysul :)

Damn You Auto Correct makes me laugh until I cry http://damnyouautocorrect.com/category/best-of-dyac/ There's pages and pages, but be warned some of it's really rude (mostly by mistake)

Cake, I'm fairly sure it's also made of crack!

Hi I'm Kate, I've been vaguely attempting to lose weight on and off for as long as I can remember. A couple of years ago I lost a fair chunk but it has all crept back on. (I blame the cake fairies)

I try have fruit when I get up in the morning, about 7.30ish, and then have a cereal bar mid morning if I get hungry. Eggs always keep me full too so scrambled eggs and a slice of toast is always good :)

I have just spent 30mins bouncing about to Wii Zumba in my front room, I'd never go to a class because I'd be the one jiggling about out of time and getting all hot and sweaty in the process. I feel a bit daft even on my own at home but it's a good workout and I feel better for doing it :)

I have a Benecol non dairy yoghurt drink every morning, I saw a program a while ago and the Dr said that you needed something like that with plant stanols in to reduce cholesterol. They also recommended eating and drinking a lot of soya

Hi I'm from Malvern, in the Midlands. I'm just about to start my third week which is god for me, I've normally given up by now :)

This sounds really similar to me, I have a seven year old and I don't want her to grow up thinking certain foods are bad and she can't have them, just that they have to be eaten in moderation. We're practicing eating more of the healthier foods together rather than me dieting and cutting out everything tasty

I had a really bad day yesterday, I pigged out at lunch and spent the whole afternoon feeling cross with myself about it and ended up not eating dinner and going to bed hungry. Today I planned all my meals first thing and stuck within my calories so I feel better. I'm sure I'll fall off the wagon again, probably in the not…

A key for me is to find something I actually enjoy doing, otherwise I'll find every excuse not to exercise. I don't have time to go to the gym but I do have time to go for a walk/jog/gossip with a neighbour and I also make time to do some Zumba on the Wii

I'd like to lose 20lb by April, hopefully more but I know how discouraging it can be if I set myself unrealistic goals

Hi, I'm the same as you, I've had it on my phone for ages but never really used the website. It'll be nice to get some support, and have some people to talk to Kate
