• No need to force it eat when and how little you want! your body would tell you if you were starving. Ive just recently upped my fat intake because I could barely eat more than 1000 calories, and I've never been a breakfast person. One coffee with a lot of pouring cream is enough to get me through till 3pm sometimes. (Its a…
• Thank you :) I really hope you find something that works for you. Its all trial and error anyway. Your welcome to add me as a friend if you wanted some support
• I don't really watch cals anymore because of my high fat diet I've noticed I struggle to eat more than 1000 most days, I just log for reference now. I know I'm never going to be able to eat the higher carb foods again but like I said, I don't think I should be doing if they make me sick. But when I reach goal ill see about…
• Im not sure if this will help but this is what happened to me... after new year I weighed 12st 7 so decided to start eating healthy and exercising again. I was at the gym a minimum of 4 times a week (spinning classes, strength) and I cut all white flour and sugar from my diet, and was eating clean - my calories were…
• Hi *waves* Im in Lancashire, your welcome to add me :) Im on every day. Doing Atkins so 20g
• No matter what diet you do if you go back to old habits your bound to put weight back on, even with a calorie controlled diet. Just because its low carb isn't going to make it worse. I do think that you need to sustain a moderately low carb approach for life but not as drastic. If carbs are added back in slowly you are…
• Ive looked at your diary - hope you don't mind :) You don't eat nowhere near enough fat to keep you satiated, thats where the hunger comes from id suggest upping that. Im low carb, I eat less than 20g a day and hardly ever go above 1200 - I eat a lot of fat. I know everyone is different but its worth a try. you can look at…
• Ive done my BMR its around 1500 but I would never be able to eat that much every day, I do sometimes go that high but like I said its not very often maybe one day out of 7. Yesterday I was 1050
• I eat low carb and because fat keeps me full I find I only eat around 1000 calories without trying to limit them. I don't know if its the low carb or the low calorie thats working best.
• Im sure it will :) Thank you for asking, since January I've lost about 15lbs I still want to loose another 40 to get to goal so still a long way to go... But already I can see the changes to my body and that gives me motivation. Theres still times I look at it and think urghh or can't find anything to wear and because the…
• This is more of what I wanted to know, seeing beautiful people on the covers of magazines and thinking I want a body like that - but they are all photoshopped so obviously it will never happen. But rather getting to goal and finding that you're more accepting of YOU and the body you have regardless of how you thought it…
• Its nice to know your all feeling the benefits of a healthier lifestyle :D Thankyou so much for all your comments! I know loosing weight won't solve my problems, I'm not doing it for that reason, I'm already a happy person. I want to feel more confident and be happy with the body I was given and I hope when I achieve my…
• No I'm not unhappy, nothing like that I am happy (maybe I worded it wrong). I still have a long way to go, just curious of other peoples journeys and if it was what they thought it was going to be?
• Very inspirational thank you ladies :)
• Yes, I set my calorie goal to 1800 but I've never gone over that, I don't think I'm ever anywhere near it. When your in ketosis and you start adding more healthy fats to your diet you find that you are fuller for longer and off less calories. If you go to the goals section in your profile there is an option to change them,…
•
Sounds like what you're doing is working and is nice and healthy. Is it something you can sustain? That's the key.
Sorry about this I didn't read the quote, my mistake :)
• Yeah actually I feel I can sustain this long term, my body doesn't seem to cope well with high amounts of carbs they make me bloated and sluggish. Also I've not felt like 'I'm missing out' no matter where you go theres always a low carb option and I'm never eating processed food Each to their own
• http://uk.atkins.com/uploads/Docs/400530-002_What_You_Can%20Eat_Phase_1_LR.pdf The food list for phase one atkins has quite a big variety of low carb vegetables. I eat spinach (lots of spinach), tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers, aubergine, courgette... like others have said try to stay away from root veggies

• Im low carb and I love it, I got into it after reading about the blood type diet. The new atkins has a bigger focus on veg rather than meat and has introduced a carb ladder where you can introduce new higher carb foods depending on how fast you want to loose weight and what stages your at. I don't consider it to be…
• Ah, thank you! Now that people have mentioned the mucas thing I've started to notice it I thought it was just the time of year but it seems to all make sense Im really sad though I've cut the yoghurt out and am missing it  But suffering now, I had some mascarpone cheese and a piece of cheddar with my dinner so…
• Also id say the pain comes within 4-5 hours maybe less, it was more dinner than breakfast and Id be having the cramps by early evening.
• Thankyou all very much for your comments I really appreciate the help. Does anyone know how about getting tested? is it with the doctor or is it a separate expense? Ive heard that an allergy test is different from an immunity test :/
• Have you noticed its helped? Or has it not been long enough?
• Thankyou that was very helpful, Ive not had any dairy today so I think i'll see how i go cutting it out. need to find a new breakfast now :/ IM also always bloated and have a little belly that exercise doesn't seem to want to shift so that might be the cause.
• Fitbit One, same as th flex but you can clip it anywhere. I love mine
• Added sugar adds no extra value and is empty calories. Natural sugar found in fruit and milk for e.g provides us with a ton of vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals that our bodies need
• I didn't say i was giving up natural sugar just added sugar
• I've been smoke free for nearly two and i could easily have one especially if my friends are smoking and offering them around but i know i won't like it so i don't
• Supposedly if you don't eat them after a couple of weeks there are no cravings for them
• Thats why I plan to cut them all out
