  • 3 weeks. I wanted to shoot myself, honestly, because I was so hungry and tired. Finally, I had a two pound loss and nearly burst into tears right there on the scale. Like I had some mornings that I would wake up, be excited because I felt smaller, only to get on the scale and see the same number, right down to the ounce.…
  • Get two mini tortillas or english muffins and toast them for a bit in the oven. Then put some marinara sauce on them (I usually season the sauce with some garlic, onion, thyme and chili first), put some mozzerella on that, and then whatever toppings you want, if any. Put it back into the oven until the cheese is melted and…
  • Yes, me. I always tighten up in the spring, stay smaller through summer, and then relax a bit in the fall through winter. This year, I'm going to make a concerted effort to maintain my size throughout though, I do not want to go up and down anymore. This spring, it's been really hard to get the fall/winter weight off, even…
  • Depending on what your schedule is, maybe you can find a 24 hour gym and go during the dead times. Like 4 am, when nobody is there. That will give you a chance to workout with very little human interaction. Working out really helps build confidence and I think as you make progress and get more comfortable with the…
  • Height, deep voice, and a beautiful smile. I become jelly. :D
  • Girl. People just don't know how to leave well enough alone. This lady was just trying to share a recipe for fraudulent cookies, and now she has to defend her entire lifestyle for no reason. If she's happy eating her 10% protein, then why can't everyone just stay in their lane and leave her be.
  • Proteins and fats do help alot with feeling full. Also fiber, so make sure to eat lots of leafy greens so that you can get full with not so many calories. I also don't know what your exercise regimen looks like, but if you aren't lifting weights, starting that might help. Personally, I've found that increasing my muscle…
  • I count, moreso for macros than anything else. Fruit and veggies are generally very low in calories and nutrient-dense so I don't worry too much about how they impact my day from a calorie perspective, but fruit can definitely hit you hard when you're trying to keep your carbs down. I am, so I watch them.
  • You will need to do this for the rest of your life, so take your time. Moisturize your skin lol. You can run. Don't give up; the blood, sweat and tears will all be worth it.
  • I think you're being a little silly. If you feel fine eating it and it's not messing with your weight or health, then why shouldn't you eat it lol.
  • This is always my approach. It helps alot, because I find that the pressure alone of trying to live up to someone else's ideal can cause enough stress that you fall off the wagon. And I generally hate having my food policed by anyone.
  • I can do an unassisted pull up!
  • S'mores!! Cookie Dough and Mint Chip are also delicious. I've tried: S'mores Cookie Dough Mint Chip Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookie Cookies and Cream Pistachio Salted Caramel Chocolate Chocolate Mocha Chip Chocolate Almond Crunch And I've seen all the flavors in the stores, although I've had to shop around and even request it…
  • I said what I do lol. Didn't say she had to do any of these things too. Also, just to a few of your points: 1. There's nothing inherently unhealthy or mentally damaging about controlled fasting. 2. I've found a few dieters teas that work really well for me, so that's why I mentioned them. Just because they don't work well…
  • I do this all the time. I'm sure it's not healthy LOL, but I've definitely had weekends where I've gained 5 - 10 lbs in a matter of 2-3 days. It happens often enough that I don't even panic about it anymore, it's more of like an...ugh, this is going to be annoying feeling lol. It's the sodium for sure, and then when you…
  • Definitely the strongest bra I have is the Chantelle Maximum Control Sports bra. I wear a 34D and it lifts, separates, and locks everything in. Jumping rope, running, whatever...everything stays put. If I can catch a sale, I will definitely be buying another one. I also like the Le Mystere Maximum Control Bra. I've always…
  • Nah If your husband gets on a scale, does the number register as higher than your weight or not? That's it. We can get into the weeds of if your husband has more lean mass than you or if your husband occupies more volume than you, sure. But from a purely semantic POV, if your husband is 200 lbs and you're 150 lbs, there's…
  • "Muscle weighs more than fat." Also when you go to eat something unhealthy and people start "don't ruin your diet", "aren't you on a diet", "how can you eat that on a diet". Ummm worry about yourself, howbowdah. I cannot take it, it makes me want to scream every time.
  • Over the next week, I drink senna tea and tons of water to help take down bloating and move the digestive process along, try to tidy up my diet, and I try to push myself a little harder in my workouts. Nothing crazy, I just really try to dig deep and do my best, so I can feel like the extra calories were not in vain LOL.…
  • It all comes back to calories in and out. As long as you're within your macros and calorie range for the day, you can add these and not gain weight. They may even help you lose, because protein does tend to be filling, so you may find that you won't want to snack as much by adding one of these to your daily meal lineup. I…
  • Just sent you a friend request! I haven't logged in the past couple of days, but I'm back on the train as of tomorrow. Getting the food stuff down is hard, but you can do it. What has helped me the most has just been experimenting and being open-minded. I love to cook, but cooking clean can be tough because there are so…
  • If I had a dollar for every time I gained 10 lbs overnight lol. Sometimes, this happens because of where you are in your cycle or if you ate something saltier or more carby than you normally would. Like for me, I gain like 5 lbs overnight when I'm ovulating and then like a week before TOM, no matter what I eat or do. I…
  • Burning 2000 just from exercise, lol definitely not. But I do workout twice a day most days, about 60 minutes each workout, and I usually burn 1000+ between both of those sessions. Most days, I burn between 2500 - 3500 calories a day in total, according to my fitbit. It sounds extreme for sure, but my body has actually…
  • Had an umbilical hernia repair a few years ago. I was born with it, it reduced when I was a baby, and then re-emerged when I was in high school. It wasn't bothering me at first and I was very against surgery, so my doctor agreed to just watch it for the time being. But my first year post-college, it became partially…
  • I'm 5'4, and in the left picture, I was...18, I want to say. This was the summer after my first year of college and I was at 238 lbs. Wearing a size 20-24, depending on the store. The right picture was taken this morning, at 157 lbs, and I can fit a 6-10, depending on the store, although I generally describe myself as a…
  • They are probably jealous in a way. Especially because they are the ones who raised you and taught you how to eat, it's probably hard for them to like...support you trying to change. Luckily, my family is pretty supportive of my weight loss (sometimes too supportive lol) but I definitely experienced this with friends. Some…
  • What's gross is you and people like you behaving like strippers are not people, when all they are trying to do is earn an honest, if scantily clad, living. Strippers work hard to support themselves and their families with the skills that they have, just like any other person walking around here with a job. Unless you want…
  • Strippers are people like you are a person. They are not diseased or dirty, unless you count like...body glitter and maybe some scented lotion as being dirty. So he touched one (or several) and then touched you. Did you die? Two years later and you're still here to make this thread, so what is the problem.
  • Behavioral changes for me are: 1. Intermittent fasting. I generally do not eat before noon or after midnight and try very hard not to snack between meals. This naturally keeps my calories down. 2. Naturally gravitating towards veggies, healthy fats, and proteins. I'm currently in maintenance (temporarily) and working on…
