You should take everything you watch with a grain of salt. Sugar just like everything else is good for you.. in moderation. For goodness sake, no food is evil. All food is fuel, some you get better more sustainable fuel from and others you do not. Take a little from each food group even oils, fats, sugars and you'll be…

LPN at nursing home. We were always short so it made it that each nurse had an unsafe amount of patients. other nurses were nasty.

Good Luck! And what a great attitude you have.. If you plan on exercising I would advice you to eat back your calories since 1200 is the lowest you should go as a woman cutting calories.

Your doctor is an *kitten*... a huge *kitten*. What kind of pysch. doctor tells his patient something like that? Yes prednisone will make you puff up but its not a good idea to use diet pills with it b/c prednisone already weakens your immune system b/c it is a steriod. Add diet pills that mess with your body chemistry and…

You should add sodium to your counts. Alot of your meals are fast food or pre-packaged.. I am willing to bet you are consuming at least 3-4000 of sodium a day which will lead to water retention so make sure you are really pushing that water. Try to be more conscious of your salt intake.

Stop making so much sense!!! :)

I have to laugh at all the ignorant people. The lady didn't ask you if it as okay to break the rules in her office.. she asked for ideas on easily hidden snacks.. God people are so quick to throw their two cents in when it clearly was not asked for. Seriously people. I am a nurse I work 12s with no BREAKS so you damn right…

That is wonderful that your doctors listen to you and that you are actively seeking a treatment to work for you. KUDOS!

I am gonna start out by saying I am a nurse>> I am also a member of a family where there are quite a few bi-polar individuals. YOU CAN NOT CURE BIOLOAR WITH DIET!!! YOU CAN'T Bi-polar is a condition of a chemical imbalance. No amount of this food vs that food will fix that chemical imbalance. Meds are essential.. without…

I just added sodium to my diary and I went over my daily sodium twice this week. So Im guessing thats part of my problem... still shocked that it can equal 7 lbs.
-
Can you really retain 7 lbs of water weight? That sounds crazy. My sodium intake has been crazy high this week b/c I've been doing doubles at work so its alot of high sodium foods. Just crazy though

Mcdonalds grilled chicken sweet chili premium wrap with a fruit n yogurt parfait. under 500 calories and YUMMY! and actually not all that bad for you

Yeah.. cutting out "bad foods" isn't the way to go.. you will eventually break and probably go on a bazillion calorie binge. I agree to alternatives but not to completely cutting out a food. All food is fuel. Even pizza has fuel.. burgers fuel.. etc, etc. If I want a damn cupcake .. Ill eat a damn cupcake... Ill just make…

I did more research and found out that the actual program outline is to progress 5 lbs each week. Sorry. The guy at the gym told me wrong information. He told me to start with 10-25lbs out the gate.

just b/c its "fat free" doesn't mean there aren't calories.. I never get why people don't understand that.
