I decided that this year is going to be about me getting to where I would like to be. I have stayed faithful since January 1. After not seeing the results that I was hoping to instantly get I decided yesterday to do both level 1 and level 2 of Jillian Micheals 30 day shred...I finished both and felt great!

Yesterday I was outside wearing a polo shirt and dress pants and finally feeling confident that I didn't "overflow' my outfit. A lady I see about once a week said, "You"ve lost a lot of weight! How did…

The shirts that were hung in the back of the closet because I was too big for them now fit....the shirts from the front of the closet are in the get-rid-of-bin as they are looking a bit tent-ish now. Last summer those shirts were snug and I had to suck-it-in when people were looking at me...its gonna be a much better…

Congrats to all of you, love this thread, keeps me moving. My NSV is when my husband and I were sitting across from each other at the table he said "I can see your cheek bones now." Yes, I have cheat meals, but even my cheat meals seem to be healthier than they once were...small sandwich instead of large, no fries, extra water. When I want something I try to stop and think about it first, do I really want that seen in my diary? Sometimes I am surprised when I have a cheat meal (often times its fast…

I weigh 188 and when I meet my calorie goals (1580) I do lose weigh. I wouldn't lower my calories quickly if I were you, but maybe you would want to lower them by 100 or so and see how that feels and does with the scales. Do any changes gradually. When I started here I tried to do the 1200 calorie thing but I was hungry…

I too start off with good intentions but then the day and my mouth get away from me...On the few days I do really well with logging I log ahead, but then I kind of work with the numbers....I rarely ever exercise, (I have 3 small kids and a messy house) I don't ever seem to have time for it....When I play with the numbers I…

At first I didn't believe in rewarding myself for doing what I should: Eat healthy. But....this has really been a struggle for me. So I thought maybe a reward list would possibly help me stay motivated...Here's my list: Subway Gift Card Hair cut new swim suit hair color new shoes new work out clothes new wedding ring (I'm…

I can relate to you. I too have a busy life, 3 young kids, husband, job, and I dont feel like I have time right now in my life to exercise either. I would like to, but I just can't seem to find any extra time. So...I am doing this a bit different than others it seems...exercise isnt even my goal right now...just trying to…
