Welcome! Do yourself a huge favor and take some 'before' pictures and take your measurements. They'll get you through the days when the scale doesn't move. I haven't lost a pound in weeks, but my pants sizes keep right on dropping. :) Good luck!

Last time I flew, I was a size 22 and the seat belt JUST fit without an extension. You should be okay, although no flight has ever really been "comfortable" as far as I've seen. :P ETA: These were the smaller sized planes, too.

Welcome! You have a fantastic user name and I love the background in your photo! My best advice is find an exercise you can enjoy. For myself, I despise cardio, but I will lift weights all day long. You'll stick to it better and get better results if you're not hating it every step of the way.
