Totally adding you. I also currently live with my inlaws and it doesn't help they go out to eat all the time and my father in law will bring home yummy things, so I feel ya.. goodluck and remember your going to have bad days and good days.. just stick to it and dont' give up!

True True.. my loss per week is 1.5pds. As a runner, I deft. eat them back.. its just too much conflicting info.

Like some people have written here... I tend to look at the calories first (plus having the app on my ipod touch makes life easier). Maybe you could try this and keep a tally in your head or.. if you know how many calories you have left ask yourself, is it worth eating this? View those numbers like money. If you want…

I agree with those choices. When Im in the mood for something its either water or making tea. Something else I have been steadily doing, is keeping my Brita pitcher out on the counter full all the time, so I can just fill up my glass. Of course I do this though because I found I don't like cold cold water. Anyways hope…

I'm actually going on a trip soon myself, heading back up to Chicago and considering the same thing. If you need to/want to stop, Subway is always a good choice, the veggie on wheat no cheese, all veggies, with mustard is really good. Also you could try carrots, fruit, cut up apples into slices, you could make sandwiches..…

Check out runnerswolrd.com, they have a section where you can create a training program. It's called smart coach I believe, it involves a lot of crosstraining, a slow build up of miles, and some speed runs. Go for it!

I know what you mean, I had to cut back on my Starbucks, now I usually get a tall soy latte. Thats about 130 calories.

Welcome to the site! Keep tracking your intake and do it up. Something I realized and this may sound corny, but I try to think of it as a lifestyle change and something I want to stick with, rather than a quick diet. Keep tracking your intake and like someone posted on my post, be honest with yourself and youll do fine.

Thanks guys for the comments and advice. Treadmills are great, especially when your knees are hurting some, because its a softer surface. My knees use to hurt really bad when I got up to 5 miles of running and then I realized I wasn't training right. Now I have been including a lot of cross training like the spin bike,…
