I lost 16lb in the first month. High protein, no/low carb, low cal, medically supervised. 5'1" 168lb at starting.

My size 6 (USA) red dress that I wore today is now way too big - possibly two sizes too large. (I bought it a few years ago when I weighed 138lbs. I'm 122, down from 168lbs in July)

Thank you for this helpful post.

Avoid medication at your peril. Seriously. As a medical doctor, I have seen people nearly die because they preferred "the natural way" over taking thyroxine. It is true that death is natural. I write this as someone who was diagnosed late with an underactive thyroid. It could take a while for you to get used to the…

L1 D2 Done. Those side lunges kill my arms! I'm using 2.5kg weights (just over 5lb). I aim to shred first thing, but for the first few days I'm doing it in the evening due to work commitments. See you all tomorrow :)

Missed shredding today - first day in a new job at a new hospital - stayed late by three hours and am now craling to bed exhausted.Sad not to shred nor to be eating within my calories today, but happy to be sore from my two days of shredding :) See y'all tomorrow ;)

Thanks for posting - I'm in :) I've completed it twice before, over the last 18 months. 30DS completely changed my body shape - my abs reappeared and my thighs became toned. Then life got in the way and I slackened off... So, I started it myself yesterday (Saturday), but will be bound to miss/skip a day or more due to…

I love this thread! Physician.

Well done on starting the 30DS. I highly recommend getting a heart rate monitor when you are able to. MFP's circuit training calculated my Level 1 to be 220 cal, when I wear my own HRM it's anywhere from 120-155 cals for 20 mins.

I did 30DS twice six months apart. After the second round I went straight into RI30, and it was fantastic. 30DS was great prep for RI30. A lot of the moves were the same or similar, but RI30 did a lot of them for just 30 seconds....lots of variety so no boredom! And my figure kept improving (smaller than my profile pic).

I was in the same situation. HRMs are more accurate. The 30DS will give you a leaner body and improve your all-round fitness. :)
