I just "ran" my first 5k a couple of weeks ago. 1) the day before try not to do to much exercise. 2) eat lots of carbs before the race ( night before and in the AM try and eat an energy bar) 3) try and get at least 8 hrs of sleep. 4) yes you can run with an ipod. 5) do what you can, if you need to walk some, do it there…

I'm with ya! I find that if I totally deny myself the foods I like I'm more apt to stop trying to lose weight. For me moderation is the key.

Add me if you'd like. We can all use all the support we can get.

That is awesome! I know you had a good day the rest of the day!

That is awesome! I'm trying to work up to the same goal, so I know how hard it is. Congrats!

I knew I was ready to have a baby when I was tired of living life only for myself. Meaning I wanted someone else, besides my husband, to care for.

It's the mode you'd want to go into once you've lost the weight you want to lose. It will give you a calorie base to "maintain" your weight.

Try Wii Active 2. It has a ton of different exercises and programs you can do. You can even make up your own. I love mine. I've been doing it for about 3 months now and am not bored at all.

I had the same thing and was also told that it is common. As a matter of fact that same year my sister had the same thing. Both of us are just fine today. No more problems at all.

I've been drinking at least 64 oz. of water a day. Been doing 30 d.s. for about 2 weeks now only on the weekdays and have noticed about a 2-3 pound weight gain. I'm doing other exercises other then just 30 d.s.. I've also been careful with my calories and such. Usually leaving open 100-200 cal. per day.

I've been on it for about a month now and LOVE IT! It doesn't tell you how many calories you've burned, but it will get you sweating. Great music that is bound to get stuck in your head and moves that are fairly easy to follow. I've found that given a good effort I can burn about 300 calories in about 45 min.. Hope this…

There is no one diet that works for everyone. You have found what works for you. Don't put too much stock in to what other people say. I think that what you have accomplished is awesome. We should all have the will power and determination that you have. Addiction is not easy to keep in check, and it seems that you are…

When it comes to diet and exercise, you are my long lost twin! I too have a husband that eats whatever whenever. I feel your pain. The best piece of advise I can give you is to find your motivation. Why is it that you want to lose the weight and remind yourself of it every day. I just started the program about a week and a…
