This has been a really interesting read and following the link and working out my BMR (1655) multiplying it by 1.2 as I have a desk job (1986) then deduct 500 cals per day to equate to a 1lb weight loss per week means my calorie goal for the day should be 1486. Thank you, it's good to know I'm not the only one xx

41 lbs is a fantastic acheivement! don't be so hard on yourself, give yourself some time off each week to just relax and enjoy life with your friends. One evening off is not going to ruin the hard work you've done and it might make you feel happier x

I'm on Day 9 of Level 1 and was very sore for the first 4-5 days but that has eased off now. Well worth it I am already noticing a difference. The only thing I have found though is the scales are showing a gain, hoping this is due to me gaining muscle!

Congratulations :)

I'm a real emotional eater and a lot of it is to distract me from other things or as a way of sabotaging myself when things are going well. I did it today! BUT this time instead of thinking Oh well I've blown it! and carried on eating everything in sight I went and put on an excercise DVD and burnt off what I had eaten. I…

Hi there I can totally relate to sabotaging yourself when things are going well. I have figured out my comfort zone is being fat. Not yet figured out why but I do know when I am making progress and things are going well I usually do something to set myself back. I am just starting out as well so if you need a friend (or if…
