MFP automatically sets your calorie ratio to 55% carbs, 30% fats, and 15% protein, many people change their ratio to be more along the lines of 40/30/30 and you may want to do the same :) Oh and you may want to try difference ratios and do a little research on your own to see what is best for you, I've read a fair amount…

Totally agree with this--some days I eat upwards of 2000 calories because of calories burned so I changed my diary settings to have a 'snack' between every meal (including the one after dinner) so that I can space out the calories better. I also agree that nuts, nut butters, and whole grains are great. Good luck!

*hug* Keep doing what's right for you. As far as I'm concerned they can suck it! Crude, but sometimes you have to tell youself that they don't control you and they probably don't know your life or what's best for you. I agree with ladyhawk--healthy, sustainable way and ignore the *kitten* (easier said than done but it will…

HRM wins by far in this situation... The wii doesn't know how tall you are or how hard you were really working.

I know I need to, and every time I run I tell myself I'll stop. I rationalize it by telling myself that I'm not a regular smoker--less than a pack a week--but to prove to myself that I can stop I'm with you! No more excuses or rationalizations! 4/22/2011 (I have my first 5K the 23rd)

LOL! it's all clear to me now...

Yes, the N4 pearl...I LOVE it so very much lol. I wear the watch constantly because it's super cute and the HRM has been great. I got mine online from health check systems for $57--I looked at the one at Target to see the actual dimensions before I ordered it but I'm cheap lol.
-
Thank you! I've been trying to find a video that shows correct form and this is perfect...there's a few people I need to show this to lol :)

One with a chest strap really makes it worth it, I got my New Balance N4 (specifically for women) for $57 and it has a chest strap (HRM) and you input age, height, m or f, and weight for accuracy.
