Thanks! I think that is the struggle like .. I've already done this. I don't want to do it again! 🤣😭 Awesome job this weekend btw!!!

I have to do a detox once a quarter and not take any methylated supplements. Lots of meditation and no caffeine or alcohol. However, after 2 years, I was able to get up to one drink a month now if I plan it right. 🥰

Hi, everyone! MFP veteran here. I lost 60lbs using MFP almost 10 years ago and, sadly, after kids and hormones, I tacked it back on. I DID however, find out it was related to a genetic issue. I was able to solve my mood issues, but weight is still a huge huge struggle as my body hoards cortisol. Sooo...here we go on mine!…

Added ya! Same boat. Super active MFP user with over 500 consecutive days of tracking, 60lbs lost and it's all back after kids 8 years later. YIKES!

Hi, all. I deal with anxiety, PMDD and bipolar-like depression due to a genetic mutation (COMT+/+). I can easily lose and gain 20lbs in a month due to undermethylation of cortisol and estrogen. It's infuriating when people my entire life would tell me "you need to eat less and workout more" when it was the opposite for me.…

Definitely feel free to add me. I had an over 800 day streak on MFP, dropped 65 lb. Here I am 55 lbs heavier, completely off course after kids and I'm going to be 39 in December so I'm right behind you. Definitely looking to lose again and fight the depression. I would love to help motivate others as well as I need someone…

UPDATE: She's here! Cece (Cecilia Mariella) arrived at 4:43a.m. on Saturday. We love her so much...

Hey, all. update on me. It's been a very stressful week. I hit 40 weeks on Thursday (dr. says April 29th, I calculated May 2nd from my ICSI procedure as my due date so we settled on Thursday as an estimate). Blood pressure has been 110/70 consistently, our little girl, Cece, had a good heart rate of 144bpm. I'm 1cm, 75%…

thanks, guys!

*self bump! ;-)

Good time to start! I started Zumba the day after my 30th birthday to make a change. Lost 60lbs and never looked back (I'm higher now because I'm 35 1/2 weeks preggers so don't let my ticker fool you. lol!) Best of luck to you!!!

When I worked with a trainer last year, he told me the same thing...but still didn't work. For me? It was too high intensity in too short of a period of time after eating. I HAVE to eat before a workout...but, now if I do, I have to eat 2 hours before a workout; no less than and hour and half. Maybe try doing that and…

Same here. Technically obese....resting pulse of 48 (pre-pregnancy...i'm 23 weeks now), good cholesterol, normal to low blood pressure, awesome aerobic threshold and metabolic test results, normal sugar levels. It's totally possible....My husband is technically obese, also, and has raced two half iron mans, dozens of…

So, I think that wasn't very professional and I'm not sure the tone of voice she had when she said it since I can't read in to that, but with us hormonal women, that isn't a smart thing to do! My question is why in the world was the nurse doing it instead of the dr.??? Ours, the Dr. ALWAYS does it....personally, if it…

Thanks ,all, for the tips! Guess I'm just going to have to suck it up, basically. blaaah!!!

Yeah, I don't drink milk so I'm with you there. :-( I would rather deal with the pain. I'll try the pillow. :-)

I feel you....I LOOOVE mint chocolate and that's what is around during the holidays in everything; cookies and candy and I have lost control. I had an intervention with my husband to help me with control. And, I told work about it since they have been feeding me the stuff. I know that sugar isn't actually a DIRECT…

Gender reveal is January 11th! Can't wait!

It Nutella is the devil, Biscoff Cookie Spread is TRUE hell!!! mmm....

Another weird thing, too, is I drink it more if it's room temperature or warm vs. cold or with ice. Not sure why, but it's a personal preference.
-
I keep it in one big container that was pre-measured. When I drink, I know if I finish the bottle, I've had 10 cups. Also, if I do a day where i can't stand water (I'm 4 months pregnant so that is happening right now), I'll add some lemon and liquid stevia for lemonade OR I'll do some uncaffeinated fruit flavored tea and…

I still have mine set for weight loss so if I eat over, it's ok. I'm more hungry now that I'm preggers. Dr. doesn't want me gaining nor losing since my BMI is still high. So far, I've maintained around 8lbs on/off.

15 weeks this thursday and started to show the other week. I have a fatty tummy though so it looks more like I'm getting fat. lol

sushi.....I want it soooo bad....

Thanks, all!

I had my first one at 6 weeks partly because we did ICSI and they wanted to confirm the pregnancy. :flowerforyou:

I'm with you on this one. You have one for the first born. If your first born is still around and healthy for the second, you shouldn't have a second shower. To each their own.
