What a difference a "k" can make ;)

251 is definitely too low and 600 definitely way too high. Does it show you how many W(atts) you're "producing"? I weigh 195 lbs and burn about 800 kcal @ 250 W per hour. If I were you I would compare your weight and Watts to my the values above and take them into consideration, that should be quite an accurate guess. :)

This! It won't change anything, but the weight prediction won't appear! :)

Me neither, I'm not exactly attracted by a vegetable (?) with so many calories, even though they are healthy fats! :D

Yeah, just like that! However, your URL seems to be incorrect. It looks like a normal address, but ends with ".jpg" ".png" or whatever type of image it is! [ img ] http://dakd0cjsv8wfa.cloudfront.net/images/photos/867/483/8867483_3796_thumb.jpg [ /img ] without the spaces:

Those bars won't get you anywhere, and those in shape ppl you're talking about are not in shape because they eat those bars on a regular basis. I'm not saying protein bars are bad, in fact some are pretty tasty and their macros are not bad either, but protein from natural sources is still the best you can do to hit your…

I had a quick look at your diary and the last week seemed good to me, both in terms of calories and macros. Since you describe yourself as lightly active, I understand your concern of gaining weight slowly but constantly. I have recently read a book where it, in simple words, said that your metabolism adapted to your…

Very accurate in my case. I see a lot of people complain about MFP overestimating exercise calories, but I find them surprisingly accurate (elliptical, cycling, jogging) because the machines at the gym / other websites give me pretty similar numbers. If you wanna make sure you don't overestimate, only eat back like .. idk…
-
Yep, I would go for BMR, sedentary, logging exercise.
-
First of all, congratz on your success! :) Depends on whether you wanna keep losing weight at this rate. Less weight = Lower BMR/TDEE ---> less calories needed to maintain/lose weight (at least in theory) However, 10lbs won't make a huge difference concerning BMR/TDEE, so I wouldn't worry too much.

Good to see you're still concerned about calories/nutrients when you're drunk lol! Make up for it with a cardio session? :p
-
^This. Don't let the calorie counter take away every food you enjoy. You need to preserve something that keeps you happy. And 270kcal/day doesn't sound like much if it fits into your plan.

Because 100g Whey contain 80-90g protein whereas ~32g is the highest I've ever seen in whole foods. I wouldn't go exclusively on Whey either, but it's still a good way to fit your macros imho. On topic: The best I know is ESN Iso Whey Hardcore: 100g: ~ 380 kcal, 88-90g protein, 1-2g carbs, 1-2g fats, depending on the…

Thanks, yours looks great too! :P That sounds like very clean eating to me! Have you ever tried protein bars? They contain a considerable amount of carbs too and are often low in fat. I know they are expensive, but quite good imho, and there are lots of recipes for selfmade bars!
-
So basically you're looking for tasty foods that consist primarily of carbs & protein ? The first thing that comes to my mind is yoghurt ... yummy, moderate in protein and carbs (if you choose wisely) and mostly low fat.
-
I prefer rather low weight & high reps, don't wanna put too much pressure on my joints.
-
It's called elliptical trainer in the MFP data base.
-
Which is why MFP adapts the displayed number of burnt calories according to your body weight. Still not always accurate though.
-
You're better off with protein cravings than with carb/fat cravings lol! As long as you're within your kcal goal, you can enjoy those snacks. If you still wanna get rid of the habit, perhaps you should try to eat more for dinner so that you feel full?

Yes, you can take in too much protein, too much of anything can be toxic. More precisely, too much protein can damage your kidneys. However, you would have to eat a LOT more than just 57g (which seems VERY little anyway). I'd say, depending on your weight, you don't have to worry unless you often eat more than 250 or 300g,…

Metal dumbbells are what you're looking for

Even with intense weight training, you can only build a couple of pounds of muscle per year (seen apart from steroids etc). Perhaps your body will store some additional water/glycogen as well, but it shouldn't be too much, so I wouldn't really worry about that. Furthermore, more muscle mass = higher BMR! Don't be afraid of…

I tried Shirataki noodles a while ago, they smelt pretty bad ... they had no taste, but I didn't like their consistency, so I don't think I'll buy them again since they are so expensive.
-
Which contains more sugar than protein and costs you a small fortune in the long run. :D
-
Don't worry, you didn't put on 5 "real" pounds, most of it is just water and glycogen. If you decide to "fast" as described, you'll probably lose them within a week or so, go for it! :)
