such thing as too much protein?

My protein goal says 57 but I'm always over it by a lot. I eat a lot of salads and veggies but since I'm concerned that I'm taking in too much protein I'm not getting enough calories. Any suggestion? Just gettin back to logging and I can't remember how to hit most goals together

    it's pointless beyond a certain point - some say 35% of calorie intake. Use custom goal settings to put the values where you want them.

    Yes, you can take in too much protein, too much of anything can be toxic.
    More precisely, too much protein can damage your kidneys.
    However, you would have to eat a LOT more than just 57g (which seems VERY little anyway).
    I'd say, depending on your weight, you don't have to worry unless you often eat more than 250 or 300g, but that seems unlikely.
