  • I'm totally in the same boat. Everyone thinks their stupid comments are welcome and they're not!! I get the "you don't need to lose anymore" and "don't get to skinny". I want to lose about 15 more lbs and I'm hoping that will come off my legs. I can agree my upper half of my body is getting fairly small. That is why I'm…
  • Enter a date before you started your mfp profile and put in your real starting weight. ETA. I started mfp in april 2013 but had already lost 10 lbs. So I went back and put March 1st 2013 and entered my original starting weight
  • I've been trying to quit for a month or so now. I'm using a e cig most of the time. I want my lungs back so I can exercise harder. If you find an e cig that you like I'd say its a good stepping stone for quiting.
  • Ok week 1 wasn't so great for me. As the weather gets warmer I will be outside moving around more. This is my third winter in the northeast and I think cabin fever is getting to me. So as the weeks go on I hope to exercise more and get a little stricter with my calories. My workout plans for the challenge. Walking outside…
  • Sedentary is for people that sit all day at work and while they are at home.
  • I have the exact same schedule (waitress) and I consider myself lightly active. In the summer when I actually get outside and do physical activities other than work. Then I'm probably at a moderate activity level.
  • At a sit down place I tip 20-25% Take out 10-15% At a bar or coffee shop $1 a drink.... $0.50 is even ok This is US standard anything less and you are cheap. Go pick up some groceries at the store. Cook your own food. Do you own dishes and stay home. People are providing you a service so you should tip accordingly. That's…
  • This is my 4th challenge and the best advice I can give you is to stick with it. Everyone will have weeks without losses and with gains. We are a team and in it together! Its ok to have bad days and weeks just stay with it and over the next 12 weeks hopefully you will be a few lbs lighter and on your way to a healthy new…
  • Do you prefer a boot or lower rise shoe? And what are the advantages for both?
  • I've always slept on my side with my knees together. Now they are to boney and I have to have a pillow in between them.
  • I've heard other people say this. Just make sure you eat plenty of fiber to keep things moving and lots of water.
  • I love hiking in the adirondack mountains in NY state.
  • That is awesome! I wish I could get paid to lose weight. I know there are online groups you can pay to enter then the biggest loser gets the pot at the end.
  • I'm pretty sure in WA state its required to post calories on the menus or at least have it available. So if its not on the website ask for it when you get there. Maybe sneak to the "bathroom" and go find your server so everyone doesn't have to know.
  • If your making your own at home then maybe try baking the french fries. Put some lower calorie cheese on at the end to melt it. Then dip each fry in the gravy instead of having the fries smothered with gravy. I know it won't totally be the same but at least the basic flavors are still in each bite.
  • Jalapeno Poppers 10-20 jalapenos depends how many you want to make 1-2 pkgs cream cheese ( use light and nobody will know ) 1-2 pkgs bacon cut in half Cut jalapenos lengthwise and take out all the seeds or leave a couple Scoop cream cheese in. Wrap with half a piece of bacon. Insert toothpick to secure bacon. Cover cookie…
  • Skinny dippin with the cowboy hat on of course
  • SEAHAWKS!!!!!!!!!!
  • A cup is 8 fluid ounces or 8 fl oz, this is by volume. If you are weighing something that is 8 oz, then its by weight. Edit..8 oz of lead will take up less volume (space) than 8 oz of feathers
  • Yes I drink my diet pop mixed with vodka or whiskey when I want to get drunk. I figure if I'm going to be bad and have a few drinks then I'll help myself a little by using diet.
  • Ah the watch got to big! I love it!! I always thought that I had fairly small arms and wrists even at my biggest weight. I've done the wrap your fingers around your wrist trick to see what size frame you are. Now that I am closer to a normal weight I can overlap my finger and thumb when before it was barely touching. So I…
  • I am a waitress in a small town so most of my customers are regulars. Over the summer a lady(in her 70s) who knew I had lost about 40 lbs at the time came uo to me and said "you shouldn't wear that skirt it makes your butt look big". Maybe it was a little big then but wasn't her place to tell me. I didn't ask her opinion.
  • I'm in a similar situation. The last couple weeks I have been cooking many of my own meals. My boyfriend cooks for himself and his teenage son. I try to eat either before or after them and not even be around the junk food that they eat. Cuz when I'm around I want a bite or 2 and then that easy I'm over my calories. When I…
  • I've been eating healthy for almost a year now and living with my boyfriend and his teenage son, who don't eat healthy. I can tell you my food cost is way lower than theirs. I eat tons of fruit and veggies. For breakfast I eat oatmeal and fruit. Lunch and a snack will either be a couple more fruits or if I want to cheat a…
  • 1200 calories is a bit low for men. They say men shouldn't go below 1600 a day. Just try to keep a healthy balance of exercise and diet. I think people dive to crazy into all of it and burn themselves out. If beer is your thing then I would include that in your calories. Maybe once every couple weeks you can have a few to…
  • Eat lots of fruit. You can buy a bunch and keep it in your room. That will definitely keep your calories low for the day then you can enjoy a normal and free meal for dinner.
