  • just some cans from the cupboard.
  • if its not affecting her eating then i wouldnt say its an eating disorder, more of a body dysmorphic disorder. i had an eating disorder as a teen and no matter what the cause it directly affects they way you think about and behave around food. it could just be words too even though she says she hates the way she looks…
  • im 5'7" and my goal weight was 65kg (right in the middle of my healthy BMI) i think that is around 145 pounds???? im now at 65kg and definately dont want to lose anymore because im a pear shape and already getting quite boney up top. it realy depends on how you carry the weight, 2 5'7" women of the same weight arent always…
  • i like it, the longest ive gone is 2 days though lol. i only do fruits and veg though occasionaly i might add some nuts before a workout if im feeling a litle flat AND i do cave to a nice hot cup of tea with milk.
  • ok im too lazy to read the whole thing but ive read enough, tomorrow im hitting my husbands weight bench.....watch me DIE lol.
  • i do the shred everyday and some other strength exercise and i do about 30 mins of jogging 5 days a week. although the shred is a great workout i dont find it enough on its own.
  • ooohhh gonna have to look into that one! i finished the shred about a week ago but am still doing it because i love the workouts.
  • i like to do this too usualy after a day of big eating (especialy if its on carbs) just to help cleanse the system, makes you feel much better and just so happens im having a fruit and veg day tomorrow.
  • i heard somewhere that you weigh more first thing in the morning because of something to do with fluid settling at night so if you get up and weight then you will be heavier, though i dont like to weigh at night because of the days food. so when i weigh i get up and get the kids their breakfast, make their lunches, go to…
  • me too. im guessing TOM is your period. i can go up a good 2kg when im due and i get bloated which doesnt help the waist measurements, luckily it all settles down after a few days.
  • i have noticed a huge difference in my muscle tone with the 30 day shred and have had lots of comments on how toned i look since doing it. i also do strength everyday using 3.5kg hand weights and (when i remember to) have a protein powder drink.
  • where did you get it, ive been looking (in store) for another of hers but have only found one that is 5 different workouts each targeting a different area, i want an all in one.
  • have you tried the 30 day shred? obviously you still have to stop what you are doing but its only 30 and a great workout. otherwise i guess things like using a thigh master while your sitting at the desk, bum clenchers, hand weights maybe getting in some squats and lunges on your breaks, something thats not going to work…
  • 30 day shred. its the only one ive done lol. its a great workout though and does make a difference if your eating right. my husband made comment the other day on my abs and low and behold you can see some under all the all the stretched baby belly! and i had been doing 200 sit ups a day for about 18 months withough seeing…
  • best to go by the HRM, when ive punched in the detaiils of my workouts into something like this they have been waaaaaay off (not in a good way like yours) for eg once i put in that i was on the elliptical for 60 mins and was told i had burned about 600-700 cals YAY but when i got my monitor i was actualy only burning 300.…
  • it could be AF on its way, i can put on a couple of kg when im due but it goes after a couple of days. could just be fluid retention. if you have been exersising and not eating over your recomended calorie intake then i dont think it would be fat gain.
  • im a pear shape too, its a frustrating shape but healthier than being an apple and carrying your weight around your midsection. i would love to lose a bit more off my thighs but unfortunately i would look too sickly up top and TBH i dont have enough boobs to lose anymore weight lol (although not a laughing matter). my…
  • thanks guys, will check out those links when i get some time. im using the extra virgin oil ATM, beautiful on my skin! i tried a little (about half a teaspoon) earlier about 15 mins before my workout as its supposed to give you a massive energy boost, cant say i noticed anything but it did make me feel a bit ill i guess…
  • its not a diet as such like atkins or tony fergusen etc. reaserch has been done on the diets and health of islanders compared to westerners. islanders use coconut and its oil as a staple food and everything i have read recently has basicaly said that their health is much better than ours.
  • i think it just depends on the person and how THEIR body stores certain foods. i dont think a diet too low in carbs is a good thing, you needs carbs but you also need to burn them off so eating carbs only in the morning for breakfast and midmorning snack is a good idea, and its also about choosing the right carbs the less…
  • i have done it without realising it, it wasnt until a few weeks ago that i read about it. some times (because i cant help myself lol) i would eat over my calorie limit and then the next few days i would eat under (to make up for it) and i lost weight consistently.
