  • I am feeling the same way. I never am too motivated but since the time change, I have NONE! I am like you and just want to go to bed after dinner. I struggle with some depression anyway and have been super stressed about work and fighting with my son's school. So that has also taken it's toll. I already take Calcium plus…

  • I'm struggling with time constraints and motivation myself! I'm not sure where to find it but I'm looking myself! I think we need to just come to the point where we are tired of looking and/or feeling the way we do, and change it! If you're like me, you know what has to happen and that you can do it, it's just a matter of…
  • Near Dayton, OH. It has been raining almost daily for the past week and a half. Between that and it getting dark at 5:30, I am feeling the blues! It makes it really hard to not want to be in my pajamas by 6pm! Temps dropping today to the mid 30's. Rain possibly changing to snow flurries as it begins dropping.
  • Not a silly question at all! I agree that being in the middle of your route with a full bladder does not sound like fun. But I agree with the others, you will eventually start going less once your body adjusts to more water.
  • Count me in! i need the accountability!
  • I am right there with you. I was trucking along, had lost 11 (of the 31 I wanted gone) pounds and was feeling better. Then my daughter started high school soccer. We were running everywhere, every night of the week and weekends. I stopped tracking and exercising. By the time I re-checked my weight at the beginning of…
  • I like the Biggest Loser Boot Camp. Zumba is super fun!
  • I'm behind this week! Just got caught up. I have a feeling I'll be behind on the 500 cal per day because things are crazy busy this week! I will be getting in some form of exercise though which is more than I have been lately with the crazy last couple of weeks! Colors for today: Breakfast-tans and browns Lunch-red, green,…
  • Ok, have not eaten out since Monday evening but will probably tonight. Will be a busy night with lots of running to different places. We usually eat out on Friday nights because of this. But tomorrow will be back at home for the rest of the weekend. I did eat breakfast at home and brought my lunch to work. Exercising has…
  • I would like to join! I've already haven't done well on the food challenge, we ate Subway last night while on the go. At least it wasn't a bad meal out! • SW: 181 GW: 175 EW: 176 1 pound from goal but I'm happy with it. My father in law has been in the hospital so stress and a lot of sitting around eating the wrong things threw me off at the end. Now that we are home, I'm getting back on track. thanks for the challenge!!
  • Ok, I haven't been doing the weigh in on the right day. I'm in a biggest loser challenge at work and have been using my Wednesday weights there. So here is my stats: SW 181 GW 175 CW 176 Maybe I'll beat my goal!!
  • BMR=1469 It depends on the day whether or not I eat the extra earned calories. Just depends on how hungry I am, where I eat that day, etc. I plan to go to the YMCA later with the family to work out. Thanks for the recipes and for the netflix tip! I didn't know they had workout videos on there!
  • Saw my doctor today for hospital follow up and was in pain after the exam. Had to take a pain pill and take it easy tonight. So no exercise today! I did get in extra F&V and water though. Was under my calorie goal. Yeah!
  • Lesleed-so sorry for your loss. Don't beat yourself up over 1 day. We all have off days! You'll get back on track! Jules-it has to feel good to see that one in front of your weight! Congrats! Here's my statistics: SW: 181 GW: 175 CW: 178!! I had a hospital stay this past week which resulted in 2 pounds lost but I've kept…

  • Ok about 10 minutes afer I posted this, I started having severe right abdominal pain. My co-workers insisted they call the squad and I went to the ER. They thought it was my appendix but ended up being something else. But they kept me overnight for observation and I wasn't allowed to eat or drink anything the rest of the…
  • I want to join also! Weight yesterday-181 Challenge goal-175 (6 pounds) Yesterday was crazy busy so I didn't get in any exercise but I did very well not eating a bunch! I will get at least 30 minutes tonight to make up for it. Already on 3rd glass of water for today's mini-challenge
  • I cut it down gradually so I didn't get the dreaded caffeine headache. I cut to 3/4 can for a few days, then 1/2, then 1/4 until none. I have one occasionally (usually with pizza) but it's not enough that I get back in the habit again. I agree to try some of the flavor packets in your water for variety.
  • Thanks for the encouragement. I have done ok this week. I've been under a couple of days and over a couple also, but not by much. I've gotten on the treadmill or walked at work 4 times this week, even though there were times I really didn't want to. But you are right, I did feel better after doing it. I'm waiting to weigh…
  • I'm one! My 10 year old son has Asperger Syndrome, so not as severe but still definitely very stressful (this school year has been especially stressful!) Takes up a lot of time and attention. He has anxiety and is very easily frustrated most of the time. Also by the time i've worked, dealt with him, and done all my…
