Don't be a jerk. don't act like we owe you anything. accept a "no" as a standalone answer without needing further explanation. Don't be desperate. Do nice things without expecting a cookie for it. Don't whine about being "friend zoned". Be yourself.

Start with low impact exercise, like cycling and swimming. Don't destroy your knees, you won't get them back! That's why they tell you to see a doctor before you start exercising.

Good luck. Try to change the habit instead of just being on a diet, you want to make it stick otherwise you will be back for the fourth, fifth, sixth time! You can do it!!

Collards and kale as example, dark green leafy veggies as well as fortified foods. Doesn't have to be milk products.

Personally: I wan to look like mysef. But I want to be healthy doing so and being overweight is unhealthy (bit is fine but more is bad) . In general: because humans are insecure and are social animals, we want to be part of the group (accepted).

I just read "the thin woman's brain" it was rather enlightening and I am working on it. Essentially the premise is that thin people eat what they want but they naturally stop before they are super full and their brain can distinguish hunger from boredom/sad/annoyed/thirsty.

I hear you! I bought a tiny bag of smokes almonds at Starbucks last weekend thinking it's more healthy than the cakes. Fortunately I scanned it before opening it, it had over 300cal for 50g (one bag). I gave the bag away and just had the coffee. My big tip is log before you eat.

Hot tea is still great, never goes out of style. Try some other flavours, lemon lime, ginger lemon....etc

Grill it. Baked feta is delicious. Also fits in any mixed green salad. Mix it with your mixed veggies stew. Pretty much anything.

I found logging before I eat really helps. This morning I grabbed some nuts at Starbucks ("healthier choice") and logged it before I opened the pack. I am glad because the tiny 50g bag would have clocked in at over ,300cals. Could have had the croissant! I gave the bag away.

Vanilla soy milk, almond milk, rice milk. Personally not a fan of hemp milk but people like that too.

Yeah, apparently those are just lose projections, I wouldn't worry too much about it. But yes, if you eat less than your TDEE you lose weight. Like magic but not.;) ETA: don't listen to the long timers, some are jaded and I found a few that have support issues. Trust yourself.

Hi all, I have a question.so I did my first fast day yesterday. I ate under 500 cal because I was waiting for dinner and then dinner fell after the end of the fast time. So according to my tracking I ate 850 calories yesterday but within the fast time (8pm-8pm) I was under. Is that normal? Am I accidentally cheating?
