I jogged for 8 minutes straight before work, so I could afford the calories for dinner tonight and not be STARVING! I should have done another 8 minutes, but I would have been late. I could NEVER have jogged a year ago, and I would NEVER have killed time in the gym before work.

Mine is being able to do Amayas (a downward figure eight done with the hips in belly dance) well. Gotta work on my core strength, my quad strength and protecting those knees and that back some more. :-)

I ran on the treadmill at 4 MPH for 5 minutes without stopping. I'd never been able to run more than 1:30 at a time. :-) I attribute this to all the belly dancing I have been doing.

:D I personally belly dance for fun/fitness. It does not feel like work *at all*, but I love it and have noticed a big difference since adding dance back in.

I work nights, too. What I do (rather than the default "Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snack") is 12:00 am to 6:00 am, 6:00 am to 12:00 pm, 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm, 6:00 pm to 12:00 am. It works for me. It's far less confusing than trying to figure out if the meal I ate at 2 am was a midnight snack, breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Yes. We had a great big plate of meat and a heaping pile of mashed potatoes or rice and then some afterthought out of a can. Two things: 1.) I am back in belly dancing class and progressing fast. 2.) I did the first day of C25K last week and thought "oh, that was a minute, i thought i'd be running longer." on the first round. I struggled with the last three rounds, but I kept up and didn't stop running.

I did 25 minutes on a ski machine before work. Sadly, Sunday is not a day of rest for me, but it gets me off my butt, since I have an hour-ish between the time I take the roommate to work and the time I clock in...no excuses for me on Sundays.

This looks good. The homemade cheese sauce looks super. :) FWIW, I have an easier version. I just nuke a potato for 10 to 15 minutes, boil frozen broccoli for 5 or so minutes then scoop the hot broccoli and shredded cheese over the insides of the hot potato once it's cooked. It's super good just like that.
