ahh that may be true the particular cardiology clinic I wanted to go to (the "best" in SA: Methodist Cardiologist Clinic of SA) required a referral good point tho one way or the other, OP, as I'm sure you've gleaned by now see your doc :smile: be well! be safe!

+1 I went to my GP last year with some issues, and then spent some time with an excellent cardiologist you can just ask your GP for a referral, I believe they are required to provide one if requested

sounds like you've put in your time and done your research already just start ramping up slowly over maintenance each week while lifting and track your weight gain until you find a comfortable calorie goal for the bulk
