Why if someone is scared to act are why called a chicken? Chickens attack animals they fear such as cats, snakes, mice and such.

A duck runs from creatures it fears. A scared person is like a duck.

    Ya I've never seen a chicken run from a threat,,,I have seen them get dam aggressive.
    Now a goose is a whole nother story.

    True @Tigg_er ...even as youngun's my geese would bite cats tails and refuse to run.

    @sunn_lighter I have tried a few times and you're right. They don't duck.

    Why does anyone say 'knee high to a grasshopper'? It's not true, no one plays with a child that small...less there are grasshoppers that I know nothing about.

    chickens are beautiful and sweet but you are right they def will not put up with no *kitten*
