  • Thanks so much! I will look for those :) I do love the boxing and it does give you a pretty darn good upper body workout :)
  • The Western Salad Dressing you can buy at any grocery store....it is under the Wishbone brand. It's in the aile with all the other salad dressings...it's along the lines of a Russian dressing or a Light Catalina dressing :)
  • Does anyone have any suggestions, for getting me out of my rutt? I have been at 141 for like the last month +. Which is a good thing because in April of 07 i was 198! I just can't seem to get anything more off! I would like to do about 15-20 more! I would then feel oober good! I don't seem to be eating any more or less…
  • anyone have any good home remedies for sinus/allergy problems? i can't quit sneezing, and massive clear runny nose....can anybody help?
  • Thanks so much...this is a great site...now I just need to figure out where to buy some of these ingredients! Thanks again
  • I remember that feeling girly. I was up to the 200 range and let say that I'm a little vertically chalanged. It seemed as though the 170 range seemed to just linger. And for me so did the 160 range. But over the last 14 months I've lost 55 lbs! You can do it. Just like you I haven't been this weight for over 5 years now.…
  • A girl that I used to work with gave me this recipe. It's awesome. My 4 year old and my 16 month old always ask for either 2nd's or even 3rd's! MEXICAN MEATLOAF 1 pound ground turkey 1 can corn or 1 small frozen corn about 15-30 Doritos chips Green Onion Salsa - either can or homeade Cheese - I use the low fat or sometimes…
  • I am constantly looking for good chinese food that I can cook at home. I am generally not a big rice and pasta eater thank goodness, I just like the "goop" that goes on top. I love Sesame Chicken, ro General Tso Chicken, but I can't get the flavoring right etc. I also LOVE Beef with Chinese mixed Veggies. I just cannot get…
  • I always only use eggs purchased approx 1 -2 weeks prior for hard boiling. The fresher the egg the harder the shell is to get off. I guess from what I have read, the shell or that membrane just between the egg and the shell is attached. The older the egg, the more separated it will get. Works for me. I end up getting 2…
  • I had a WalMart Brand Ultra Weight Loss Shake - Chocolate - only 180 calories, and let me tell you, it is sooo delicious. It's cold, sweet, and rather filling once you follow it with your water for the morning. I think that they taste better than Slim Fast Shakes. I'm always on the go too, so it's really easy to down…
  • My hubby works as a manager at a gas station. They have the brand of water called Enon Springs. You could probably find it anywhere. They have a great grape flavored water. It has preservatives, but no sugars, carbs, or calories. I like my flavored water. It is helping me transition to drinking less pop. Hope this helps…

  • Welcome...I'm from Michigan too, and boy am I glad that we are finally getting into some warmer weather. I'm in the Saginaw area. Good to have you!
  • I hear the ads on the radio all the time. Does anybody know anything about this?
  • You would be surprised what a healthy lifestyle can do. Keep up the hard work, and you could kick that thing yet! Have you tried water/pool exercises? I know that if you have health insurance, and a Dr. prescribes it, most of the time the insurance will cover the whole thing, or a good portion of it. Hope that helps, but…

  • you can do it, after being on bed rest for 2 pregnancies in 4+ years, i just couldn't seem to get on the right program/track....i think the key is to pay attention to what your body is telling you. pay attention to the foods that you consume and how your body feels after eating them. for example...i bought (at a dollar…
  • I have 2 quick questions. Would somebody please answer them for me: 1) If I'm exercising, am I supposed to eat all of my calories, plus the exercise ones? I get 1,250 calories but whenever I put in my exercise amounts, it raises my calorie needs. How do I lose weight then?? 2) I'm new to all of this posting stuff. How can…
  • i'm in too current weight 149 goal weight 110 i'm only 5'0 so 110, would put me at a very good, healthy and lean looking weight. i'm not sure that i will lose the 39 lbs, but i will certainly give it a good try personal goals: not eat out so often use all three machines (eliptical, treadmill, and total gym) when i work…
  • the way that i handle it is that you can plan for everything in life, and sometimes the best things are the things that you haven't planned for, say for example the dinner party....spur of the moment yes, but wonderful just the same....you deserve those things, and it, at least, i have found that it helps me control things…
  • hopefully you're not pregnant sweetie...unless of course you're trying...last time i had a craving like that, i got my son 9 months later  either way, you're back on track, and you need to give yourself that little treat every once in awhile otherwise, it would be really hard to make the progress that you…

  • Thanks a bunch...just checked it out...wow, burned a lot of calories last week!
  • It's not on the list of exercises, but what is the amount of calories for sexual activity?!! Now that I'm losing more weight, I am more willing and find it much more enjoyable, so am curious to know how to log this vigorous effort!!!
  • I have a treadmill, an elliptical, and a a Total Gym. It depends on what you like to do too. If you invest all of those well deserved tax return dollars on a machine for the purpose of the workout alone, you might get disappointed because it's not something that you like to do but more what you have to do. I found this…
  • Try going a little lower each week. Take the 1200, and take off only like 10-20 cal each day for the first week. See how it goes. If it goes well, try another 10-20 then next week. When it gets to the point where it's just too hard. keep at the amount that you did the week before. Hope this might help. Later!
  • All you have to do is click on the person's picture or the little picture where their picture should be, and it will bring up their profile. It will then have a button to push for add friend. Just joined here earlier this evening and am having a ball with it. I just added you as a friend, as I am looking to lose the same…

  • Well, I am only 5 feet, and nothing inches. I have had the whole marriage poundage creep up, then one baby boy, then depression, and then the second baby boy. After the second baby boy I was at about 200 lbs. Knowing that I had to do something, I decided to do my calorie counting. My youngest is now 16 months, and I've…
  • fabulous, don't know yet where to go for that though...how does that work! i'm so excited
  • Anytime, if you want to give me an email address or something, I'm willing to do that too. I come from a pretty religious family myself (Catholic), and it can sometimes not be so easy when you have to constantly live every day for that approval.
