  • I agree with the meal planing, if I don't plan out my meals and snacks, I am doomed. I am back and hoping to be more successful this time. I know what to do. It is to continually do it.
  • I do find it annoying to have to log in my food but without it, I cannot be successful. I tried eating right in July and mid-August and ended gaining 5lbs. Since I have joined MFP and take the time to log my food, I also use the phone app, I have lost 10 lbs. As you build the list of your foods, it gets easier to log. Good…
  • I have the same problem this morning but this afternoon, it seems to be working okay.
  • Total lbs lost is 10.2, hoping to be near or on target by Nov. 1.
  • I had an injury for the past 2 weeks and just getting back into my cardio routine. I was super busy last week working on training for the weekend so that is over, I can get back on schedule. My scale has not moved much but I am losing inches. Good luck.
  • I am at 8 lbs lost so far. I am so thankful the scale is finally moving but I had a NSV last night. I tried on a pair of jeans I have not been able to wear in almost 3 years just for the fun of it. Boy was I surprised when it fit and I could actually button it. I am hoping next week I am down 2-3 lbs but will enjoy any NSV…
  • You may be eating too few calories especially if you are gong to the gym. Also ensure you are eating enough protein and enough complex carbs. When I was on WW, I went 1 1/2 years only losing a few lbs. Since being on MFP and tracking my protein and carbs, I have lost 8 lbs. I would try changing up your calories and your…
  • These sound yummy. Will have to try them.
  • I have been using the Advocare Chocolate Shakes for a few weeks. I love the taste and I real picky with it comes to protein shakes. It is made with water which makes it convenient. Recently during a training I was attending, I brought a packet with me along with a travel mug and made up my shake. I have tried the vanilla,…
  • HI Everyone, I started this group at 221 lbs and now I am at 215.4. The scale has not moved much this week but hope it gets better in the next few weeks. I eat out during this holiday weekend but tried to get my workouts in and still ate within my allocated calories. Not getting discouraged as I had a NSV this week. I…
  • I was not a big fan of exercise so I have incorporated some fun things like dance, Zumba, and water aerobics and those days I do my cardio blast (60 minutes or longer) I make sure I have some really great music on my ipod. I have started parking farther away in the parking lot at the stores. Make little changes and have…

  • I have a Jenny Craig one. I really like it.
  • I would not give up on chocolate entirely. You will want it even more. I get my chocolate fix in my chocolate banana smoothie. I had the dark chocolate baking power or sugar-free jello pudding mix. Also you can try this recipe. I take a few tablespoons of dark chocolate chip and melt then and then coat some fiber one…
  • First of all, congratulations on losing weight and keeping it off. You look great. Thanks for your words of wisdom. Sometimes we focus on the wrong the things and that can delay our progress.
  • I have weak ankles so I use a good ankle brace to help and noticed the difference. I wear my brace especially when I do Zumba. I also go to water aerobics which I get a great workout and it is not hard on my knees are ankles.
  • Hi, I recently joined myself and hoping this helps me on my weight loss journey. Wishing you great success on your journey.
  • You can add me. I have about 50 lbs to lose. I live in Ga . I am looking to look better for my godchild`s wedding in Nov and turning 50 in January.
  • Congratulations on your determination and weight loss what seems to be a difficult journey. I am sure you had highs and lows but you seem to have worked through it. Best of luck with your continued success.
  • Welcome to the group. I am like you with more than 20 pounds to lose but breaking down my goals into smaller ones. I even break down my goals into smaller ones like 5 or 10 lbs. I know it is a mind game but anything to keep me motivated.
  • Wow, I am 5" and weigh 218 and just starting this journey and reading these posts makes me kinda sad that someone that loses 40+ lbs can be still obese according to a chart. I say throw out those charts and just try to live a healthy lifestyle by eating healthy and exercising. I once had a doctor tell me that I should…
