This is the same problem New years resolution dieters have. You can't change habits you took a lifetime to build in a day or two. Not even in weeks. It has to be little by little. You want to change everything in one go & you wear yourself thin.

Oh hi there
-
The numbers you're hitting now as far as losses are normal for bigger people who start out. But as you lose more weight you'll see smaller losses. Up your calories & keep working at it, don't be discouraged. Weight loss is never linear.
-
Your intake is far too low & from the looks of it it looks like you still have a good amount of weight to lose. There's no need for you to be eating that low.
-
Great job! Keep at it!

Me 9 & months & 2 weeks ago at 297 LBS>>>>>>>>>>>Me a week ago at 186 lbs

I usually do it before. Make sure you get as much water out of it as you can. Also you can add raw or cooked in your diary.
-
There's no way you gained 1.2 LBS overnight. It is definitely water retention. Stay at it, weight loss is never linear.

In short, nothing burns more fat than having muscle. Start with compounds to build a base. Look up starting strength.
-
That is great. Keep up the good work.
-
What are your goals? For the average active male 130 is enough.

I've ordered a few items from Amazon. It's totally fine in my opinion, I've never had an issue & most big companies have pretty good refund policies. Have you tried Whole Foods/Trader Joe's/Sprouts?
-
Awesome! Keep at it.

When I dirt started it was cardio at least 6 days a week. Now I'm doing a strength program 4 days a week with cardio on my off days.

You look amazing. Very good looking girl. I actually just posted my own http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/490913-down-about-80-lbs-face-difference

Great job

Thanks man! You do the same! I'll keep an eye out on your progress. Great job so far.

Thanks. It's an incredible feeling to be a few lbs away from the 190's seeing as I haven't been there since I was a sophomore in high school. My overall health has improved a good amount. Haven't had anything official yet. I'm pretty positive I was close to being diabetic before starting.

Thank you.

Also forgot to post timeline. Top left is some time in 2010, top right s from April of 2011. Bottom left is late December 2011/-Early Janurary 2012 Bottom right is February 14th 2012.

Thank you all, I hope i've inspired those who are hesitant to get started or are having a hard time continuing their progress.
-
Just remember that your losses will never be linear. Your body will eventually catch up & you will have to work a little harder than you did the day prior. Do not quit.
-
Think I fixed it. *Edit, thanks much appreciated.

Is this another one of those housewife diets?
-
Depends on your bodytype/activity level.

Tried it for 4 1/2 weeks, couldn't take the no cardio any longer. Lost 31 LBS from 265 to 234. I just reached my goal weight of 220 (from 285) I followed it directly as Lyle laid out & didn't budge for anything. I also phased out of it well & am still losing weight at a good pace. Looking back at it it probably wasn't the…

A lot of the machines isolate one area/muscle of the body. You don't really want to isolate anything this early into strength training. Compound lifts are the way to go. You'll target a multiple muscles & focus on building an overall strong body. Research some lifts you can do to start out with & try to get your form as…

In short, yes. It's still sugar. Too much sugar = Insulin peak.

This should be pinned so any females that are afraid of strength training can see real life benefits of it. Congrats, you look stunning.
