Trying to get leaner...how much carbs?

Hey,

I'm currently trying to increase my weight training routine/weight lifted in order to become leaner.

I have increased my protein intake to approx 120g+ per day, but i'm not quite sure how many grams of carbs i should be consuming. Do i go low carb high portein? My MFP deficit is currently set at 500calories (i'm consuming 1360 cals per day plus exercise cals. I'm approx 5ft, 120lbs

Any suggestions?

    Total= kcal 1400 kcal

    I think that's nearly what i'm doing kind of. I'm prob higher on protein than that and slightly lesser on carbs at the mo.

    It really depends on your body. For me, i need around 200g or i bonk during my workouts. The biggest thing is having a very small caloric deficit or eat at maintenance as well as lifting heavy.

    You can try it and if you get tired a lot or bonk during a workout then its fine.
