Wow! Amazing! Thank you for sharing. I've always wanted a quick fix. I now know this could take a few years. I have about 90 to lose. Your story has inspired me. Awesome transformation!

Feel free to add me. I also get encouragement from seeing how others eat. It gives me ideas when I get bored of eating the same thing.

I'm much older than you, but I did the same thing. Lost 30, then gained back 35. I also suffer from depression. Feel free to add me as a friend and we can encourage each other. My advice for your depression is to not suffer in silence. Talk to your doctor. Get some therapy. Whatever it takes.

I'm starting AGAIN. Now my weight is up so much...I have 100 lbs to lose. I've been very depressed but am trying to push myself. Your story truly inspired me. Thank you. I too have started eating the same thing everyday with slight variation. It's easier to not have to think about it. I can have my meals ready to go.…

Please add me, Jess. I need the support too. I was doing well for a few months but have been slipping lately. I could use friends who actually add a "great job" once in awhile.

Lol. Your post cracked me up. I know exactly how you feel! I have quite a few "so called" friends on here but rarely get a like or way to go! It makes it tougher without the support. Feel free to add me.

I've lost 24 pounds but have gained a few back. Having trouble staying motivated and know part of the reason is not having enough support here. Please add me.

I have 70 to lose and would love to be a support. Add me.

I recently went to a fair where I walked and stood most of the day. MY feet swelled, my back ached and and I couldn't enjoy the day. That did it. I'm only 51 and I can't walk? It's time. I've got 70 pounds to lose. I could really use support and would definitely be happy to support you. PLEASE add me.

Add me, if you like. We can support each other. :)

Where has this thread been all my life?! This is my biggest downfall. Last night was girl scout cookies. I do so good all day... log out...and grow horns at 2 a.m. Help!

Although I believe they only have stores on the east coast, California Sunshine is great for fitting us big-boobied women!

It's a hard concept to accept, but eating too little will actually stop you from losing. You're in starvation mode. Eat more!
-
Thanks for the information. Its greatly appreciated. You're definitely a fighter. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
-
You're not eating enough. Its a hard concept to get. I know I had a hard time believing it. But its true. Follow the mfp calculations.

I definitely know that this must be a lifestyle change. But Its just so easy to sit back down on that couch with beer and pizza! Lol. I was down 31 pounds in October and have slowly gained back 6. I'm trying to get back on track. Add me if you like. Good luck! :-)

I needed to heat that. Sounds way too familiar. Thank you. Oh... And by the way... you look fabulous!
-
You are giving your children a life gift! They are learning how to lead a healthy lifestyle. What better gift could you possibly give! Bravo!
-
Hi! Sorry you didn't get much of a response at first. Welcome! Mfp is a great support system. Its a place to feel you are not alone. No judgment. New ideas. Add me if you like. Best of luck!

Uugh... I feel your pain. I am a big stress eater! And I've recently put some weight back on... so I also need to get back on track. The thing is.. when you beat yourself up... you now have two battles. The obvious extra calories = weight gain...AND your confidence/self worth damage = lack of motivation because you don't…

You are definitely starving yourself and slowing down your metabolism. As weird as it sounds.. if you start eating more, you will break thru your plateau. Go into your settings and make sure you have yourself as active. I was at a plateau at one point and increased my calories. I immediately started losing again. Its crazy…

Great advice here on adding protien. Thanks for the reminder. Kissing 50 myself... its great to see someone (not a youngster) working out and working on gaining muscle. It will help us bigtime as we age. Its also nice to see someone else who isn't looking to be super skinny. Below 150 and I look sickly. Congrats on your…

^perfect advice right here! I think people want a quick loss and think once they lose, thats it.. they can stop and return to their old habits. It just doesn't work that way. Find what you can live with. And that will probably mean a slower loss than you would like, but it will be sustainable. Be patient. Slow and steady…

A little tough love... First of all, stop wasting all that time and energy on beating yourself up and having a pity party and instead use it for a productive purpose. I've been pretty much where you are now. I get feeling wishy-washy about Hubby's help as when I finally decided to get this weight off once and for all, I…

I hear your frustration so I can tell how much you want this. You can do this. The answer is planning, planning, planning. Thats one of the reasons this site is so great. Its a guide to keep you on course. Mr. Knight has a good point. Its just a matter of calories in vs. Calories out. How you do that is really very…

Thanks for all the posts. Im looking over my food diary and looking at the carb content and I can definitely reduce those numbers. And thanks for the kind and encouraging words.
-
I hit a plateau for over a month. Read that I should up my calories. I was scared but I did it. I've lost 3 pounds sine then. It definitely works. I was amazed!
-
Wow, yes, you're so superior. Most of us in this thread have a lot of weight to lose, and your criticism is that we don't want to be skinny? I don't think that most people honestly chose a weight to aim for that's based on what's healthiest. Some people want to be painfully (but not quite dangerously) thin, and you know…

Don't think about it. Refuse to have the debate with yourself. Just get on autopilot and move. Your head will follow.
