I've done it several times. Good place to meet new people-you already share an interest. BTW, if you've never run a road race before, get ready for a surprise. In my first, I ran :30 secs per mile faster than my training pace. Must have been the excitement or something.

I workout 5 days per week with a 7:30 or 8 PM start, go for about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes, then in bed, lights out by 10 PM to get my 8 in before starting all over again. Food and exercise I log on MFP. Much easier than on the FitBit site. FitBit will make a calorie adjustment for your daily activity if need be. I take all calorie burned info during exercise from my HR monitor.
