  • It makes me happy to see that you guys have found your motivation. I'll try blaring music and thinking of my boyfriend and the cute clothes... and post a picture of a fit girl in front of my elliptical and see where that gets me! lol Congrats to all of you on your weight loss by the way!
  • I lost 22 lbs and i see like NO difference in the mirror.... except on some days. But 95% of the time i'm like... "where the heck did 22lbs come off from? Because i sure dont see it!" Then i put on some clothes that i haven't worn in a while and i'm like... "oh... i guess that's where it came from" lol sounds funny or…
  • Welcome! I'll add you. :-)
  • First of all, that is an awesome story and congratulations! Second of all... WHAT A NICE SALES LADY! Oh my gosh... if i asked a sales lady here to go back and for 3-4 times to get me clothes they'd throw the biggest hissy fit and give me dirty looks! You were lucky to find a nice lady to help you out and be as…
  • Aww thanks so much guys! You're all so great <3
  • No idea... i assume softer foods? I just wanted to wish you good luck!
  • Wow thanks for all the responses! Abutterflyemerges... i wanted to say that i think i'm losing from my fingers too... haha! my rings are getting looser. But i'm pretty happy to know more of you are in the same boat. i was 220 and want to get to 130-140 so that's a lot of weight! Currently i'm 204... so i have 74-64 more…
  • I just ate a burrito today actually! Isn't that funny. We have a place called Tijuana Flats here... so i ordered for the "Power lite" menu. which is a list of foods under 500 calories. So i ordered a whole wheat tortilla with just refried beans and lettuce and it was more or less 400 calories. It was still enjoyable…
  • That's excellent! Another thing you might notice... i have... is that you will feel guilty if you feel too full after you are done eating. I always do! Even if I didn't go over my calories or eat anything bad... the feeling of being full just seems wrong. lol You are suppose to stop eating before you get to that point...…
  • I can't decide what's cuter... the pretty blonde lady or the cake! I think the pretty blonde lady wins! You look adorable. I love the flower in your hair and you certainly do not look 40! I think when I turn 25... i'll be staying there for a long long time. hehe Happy Birthday by the way! I hope you have many many more…
  • Wow! I didn't realize this was due to the diet change! I always have clear skin and this last week i broke out with like 3-4 pimples! Verrrryyy frustrating!! Even with makeup it looks terrible because you can still see the bumps! But i guess this is semi good news.... i'm happy to know my body is noticing my diet…
  • Fish that get really old and big have tons of Mercury... like swordfish.... and unfortunately i really like swordfish.
  • It is pretty crazy... but it has happened to me too. I went from eating 1200 calories to like... 1800 and then lost some weight. hehe. So, i do believe you should kind of yo-yo the calories sometimes, so your body doesnt get used to a set amount.
  • You will still lose... after all it is calories burned! The reason our scales seem a bit weird during the time of the month is due to our water retention. So once your period ends and the water amount balances you should see some additional weight loss from your workouts. :-)
  • Congratulations! I have the question a lot of times... especially because i weight myself daily. lol. So i get to see some crazy numbers. But I record the weight daily, and I look at the graph MFP provides... if it has a downward trend, then i'm happy.
  • I'm Greek and have been eating Greek yogurt since i was a baby! lol I eat the original plain Fage Greek yogurt with a teaspoon of honey drizzled on top.... and sometimes some Fiber-One cereal on top (like a teaspoon or two). Its delicious! I either have it for breakfast or dinner. I eat the original one that isn't fat…
  • I can vouch for the slowing down. I'm on my 4th week and I'm now struggling to lose the 2lbs per week! I think for my first month i'll have lost 10 or 11lbs. But the majority came from the first 2 weeks!
  • Yeah, I agree that my 3-4 hours of sleep i had the last week or so were not enough. I just had no choice, too much stuff to do. Last night though i got plenty of sleep. about 8-9 hours. Last week though i also didn't lose as much weight as i had a couple weeks before that, so i was wondering if that had something to do…
  • Wow, such fast responses! Thank you ALL so very much! Jelywa - that article was amazing! But i'm not sure if that applies to me... before i started my "diet" i just ate whatever i wanted without being excessive.... like I didnt eat McDonalds daily... or fried things all the time. I just ate like any person not watching…
