Did the burger taste good? If it did, and you're not doing it very often, then it's okay. Just eat less for the next few days (or not). It won't make a difference if it's not a habit. Last week we ate at a little Mom & Pop type restaurant & I had a hand pattied double bacon cheeseburger that I couldn't even get my mouth…

That sounds like Atkins. You can find it free online.

Low carb can be fine if you can still get the vitamins & minerals your body needs with out fruits or the higher carb vegetables & if you can stick to it. It's not for me, but for those who do well with it, I'm truly happy for you.

Why would you want to "inflate your liver"?

It may have been but I don't think low carb is a good long term thing for me. I LOVE carbs & I'm okay with that. I also call into question the theory that pork rinds would be better for you that a cup of grapes or other fruit.

Going low carb made me very sick. My heart was racing all the time, I had dizzy spells, & I barely had the energy to make it from the couch to the fridge. Also I don't know anyone who done low carb & stayed with it, they all quit & gained it all back plus some.

I would go by what it says on the bag of corn. Aldi is awesome though! I'm going there tomorrow to get as much as I can of my Thanksgiving supplies.

Tommy Hilfiger has been my favorite forever because they're made for bigger bottoms. They also hold up well and last for years.

Go to Long John Silvers & be sure to get it to go because you will not make it back home otherwise. Seriously though I have been going through the same changes and some things that help are mangoes, more water, a tablespoon olive oil mixed with a tablespoon lemon juice, squats, & abdominal massage.

I'm not worried about it. Holidays are the stuff that your life's memories are made of and you only get so many. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas I am so busy that I actually end up getting a lot of extra exercise like deep cleaning, cooking, shopping, buying the tree and decorating, extra church functions, the kids'…

Can I replace the ham with more pie and the salad with some more pie? Lol seriously I can't wait.

I would go. Dresses with princess seams are slimming, no large prints, a spray tan if you can afford it. Relax and enjoy yourself!

Its so nice to see others with the same goals! I would love to join.

Holidays are the stuff that your life memories are made of. No one will remember how good mom's *kitten* looked on Thanksgiving but everyone will remember trying to pretend cauliflower is potatoes. No one gets fat in one day so just relax and enjoy yourself.

Are you drinking diet soda? That is one of the common side effects for someone sensitive to aspartame.

I'd say it depends on height and how far you have left to go to goal weight. I'm 5" 1and 125Lbs. I am usually under 1200 except on Thursdays when I do grocery shopping and get my one indulgence for the week, usually a giant sloppy piece of carrot cake. I have suffered no I'll effects what so ever and actually feel a lot…

I stay around 1100-1200 everyday and I find it totally doable (I'm a shorty though so I don't need much). I've never been a breakfast eater so that gives me the ability to have larger meals later. A lot of people eat breakfast because you are "supposed to" when those hunger feelings are actually your body digesting the…

I used to be an alcoholic, trust me it is NOT the same. Are you going to overeat and wreck your car, sleep with random people, fall down, pass out, lose your memory, go to jail, etc.? My alcoholism never got as bad as doing all those things but it does for a lot of people. Take responsibility for your overeating.

Exactly this^^

A couple of months ago my mother in law made the comment "you've really gained a lot of weight haven't you? You used to be so small and have such a nice figure." First of all I had gained about 20 lbs. She has gained like 50-70 lbs in the past 5-7 years. No one has mentioned that to her. I have lost 14 lbs since the last…

I'm not trying to be rude here but it seems you are overly worried about the weight loss goals of strangers. Everyone has a different idea of healthy and where their body looks best. Also 15-20 lbs is different for some. I gained about 23 lbs and it took me from a size 2/4 to a 8/10 but that's just me.

I'm excited to shop in my own closet. It was so exciting to button and zip jeans that I previously couldn't get over my thighs. I can't wait to get into my other ones!

I'm so glad to see there are others out there. Regular people just don't get it. I can't have my food touching and I can't eat any meat that isn't VERY well done. Its not an issue of picky I will seriously be sick.

Everyone's husband that I know does that, including mine. I think it's a few different things like he thinks I'm suffering in some way from lack of junk, he thinks I've done well and deserve a reward, he feels sorry for me because I'm not eating boatloads of foods he knows I find delicious, he's trying to be nice, etc.…

I actually got that triple dipper last night....... With a side of southwest mac-n-cheese. I could only eat half but I brought the rest home and ate it later. No regrets though that chit was good.

If you rinse the canned beans it removes some of the sodium but the dried ones do have a lot less. I would try to stay away from light foods because when they take out fat and calories and sugar they replace it with salt and chemicals. It is better to eat real foods but just less of them.
