  • I have rheumatoid, I walk and go for swims when the weather permits. Stretching exercises are very important to me, especially in the morning before getting out of bed.
  • I think its your hair making your face look thin, the face sides are hidden behind your hair. Try putting your hair behind your ears and take a photo and look. I think you look super though.
  • I asked my doctor about diets and he said there was nothing that they know so far that would make any difference, just eat a well balanced diet.
  • Mine was low too, I was told to eat nuts , seeds, and cooked dry beans.
  • I can't run either, I am trying to walk more and I want to start the wii fit again, I got away from it.
  • Hi Everyone, I have had RA for 19 years now, I need to exercise more, lose weight of course. I am hoping to get some more energy, I have very little. I am on prednisone every other day, it makes it very hard to lose. The RA has scarred my lungs and I get out of breath easy.
  • This sounds so much like me! My weight loss is extremely slow too.
  • Yum! I made them with one whole banana, 3 egg whites. Mixed in blender. Stirred in 1/4 cup dried fruit. Poured them out small sized. Tasted very good!
  • I am sorry to hear you have RA. I have had it for 19 years now. You must find an excellent doctor, you need to be on the correct medications so you don't hurt too much. Gentle exercises help, I walk and swim when I am able and do Wii fit. I am on steroids, prednisone every other day. Its a low dosage, it is about what a…
  • I have lupus but its just part of my autoimmune conditions. I also have rheumatoid arthritis and fibrosis of the lungs brought on by the RA. It makes it very hard to exercise, I get fatigued and out of breath very fast. I am on steroids to keep it all under control and they give me a huge appetite. Its very hard to lose…
  • Yes I do, when I am mad I want chocolate, sorry for myself, chocolate. For all around comfort food I like macaroni and cheese.
  • It does sound like sciatica, my husband has it. You need a new doctor. I have rheumatoid arthritis, I went to six doctors before I found a good one. It took six months to figure out what I had, the arthritis factor did not show in the blood tests to begin with. It could be something as simple as the body not being used to…
  • I am 5' 6'' and weigh 175, lost 7 pounds since I started here. My goal is 145. I got down to that a few years ago and thought it looked pretty good.
  • You look just right. Start believing it! Keep what you have, you are a lovely person, I wish I looked as nice.
  • It doesn't sound good to me, eating all that fat isn't good. Moderate protein doesn't sound good either. It sounds like hype. Back then I have read that people died at around age 40 of old age. Of course they didn't have modern medicine, vaccines and antibiotics. They want to sell their cookbook. How did they know how they…
  • If it goes away when you eat something you aren't getting enough calories. Don't skip meals if you are.
  • I am tired of it, but I am more tired of weighing this much and not having the energy to do what I want to.
  • I used to fast once in a while, years ago. Like the day before I would go to a weigh in at the TOPS club. (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) If I was active I would get dizzy and almost faint. A little sugar like a candy would fix me right up. If I am late for a meal now, I have to have a snack or I will get woozy.
  • Thanks much you all, some exercise is good, I do walk and I can do gentle stretching. I can't run. I have my diary set up, not sure if I got it set up for all to see though. I have been having trouble getting all the water in, I think today I will have it. I am trying to eat more vegies, for some reason that is hard for me…
