  • I weigh myself every morning before showers, after workouts. I only record that weight into MFP once a week. Unless there is a huge drop.... like over a pound. (which doesn't happen very often)

  • Im 30, but even in my 20's I still had some extra skin. It's not really noticeable. But it is there and I see it. I've lost 99 pounds.
  • Great job on the loss. I'm the same way. In stores while shopping I still grab the larger size and always go back. I'll grab a 12, 10, and 8. Much to my surprise the store clerk yesterday asked if I needed a 2 or 4 I started laughing. Grabbed a six and it was big. She was right, I'm a 4. She saw it. Why can't I!!! I get…
  • I do not have a way to help because I am the same way. I am almost at the 100 pound mark, went from a size 18 to a 4 and I still see the big me. I just wanted to say you are not alone.

  • I'm going to say the same thing. You have to eating more than you think. If you don't have a food scale go get one. They are awesome and you can get one that is reasonably priced. Everything down to the gum you chew needs to be logged. Also if you are depending on MFP food data base make sure you are using the exact one…
  • I love doing my own thing on my own time at home. It is what I prefer. I have lost 96 pounds doing it, so it can be done. Just stick with certain days and times and do it as scheduled. No excuses. You will see results if you go hard, watch your form and push to do better each time.
  • I agree with the milk.. its the only way I will eat it.

  • Hi, Becky! Looking to lose the last 15 lbs. I have already lost 96 lbs. Add me!
  • Hi! 5'8" starting weight 255 got down to my maintenance 155 then put 9 back on, so I am here again! Took about 4 years for me to lose the 100. I am currently at 159 so just a couple more to go! I have some before and afters in my pics. I'll add you! Not sure how to post them on here!
  • Im not a working mom, but I would love more friends! (Cleaned house not to long ago) I do not sell anything! LOL
  • It took a long time for my husband to get on board. I had the mindset of "I am doing this for me, I do not need him to support me" It really stemmed from insecurities he had with himself. (But this didn't come out until I was in this for three years) I ignored the why are you logging, why do you focus on your health and…
  • Are we MFP sisters? I did the same thing about two weeks ago. Its definitely not the same without friends! Adding you!
  • TurboFire! Before anyone is up and after everyone is in bed. I don't have the option to wait. My hubby is an oilfield man so he is out of town 24 days a month. I'm a stay at home mom of four boys. Gotta find the time.
  • Yes, yes and yes. I get it also. Especially from family. I was just told from my MIL," are you still dieting?" Me..." Its my life style not a diet.." her "why, your too skinny" or "I'm concerned... are you doing drugs" Pump the breaks people. I eat right and workout... whats the big deal. I understand when you go from 255…
  • You need to be taking in the full 1200 calories. Even if it is hard and your not hungry. Your Dr is going to say the same thing. When I was going to the doctor on the exact diet and pill he didn't want me working out. With the DR its all about the food you are consuming. They do not factor in the exercise calories. When I…

  • Im 5'8" and started out at 275. I was the same, in my younger years I was always the heavy one in HS. (even though I was not heavy by any means) I have had four kids. Each time gaining at least 75 pounds. The last time I didn't have the attitude of I'm losing all this. I stayed that way for a long time. Then something just…
  • I agree with the take it day by day. I also agree with, if you want it bad enough you will do it. There are days when I do NOT want to work out. I fight every step of the way. But when I am done, I am so glad I did it. You can do this. You need to alter that thought process, you HAVE to work out just like you have to…
  • I am sending you a request. I am in the same boat. Had a MFP account for 2 years went from 265 pounds to 155! It was an amazing thing, and this site and my friends helped me soooo much! When I got to my goal weight I thought... oh I got this. Five months later and 20 lbs heavier I was so defeated. I worked so hard to get…
