  • I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! So far it is working for me I've only had it three weeks. But I didn't lose a pound on my fitness pal. I believe the body bugg is more accurate in how many calories I'm burning. My fitness pal is way to high on calories burned during working outs. Yes it is expensive but I wasn't losing a pound and now…
  • Hey I got a body bugg and have lost three pounds since i got it!! which is better than anything i had tried before any other body buggers out there?
  • so now i am back to where i started. i used the bmr calculator on this site it did not ask for an activity level.
  • my bmr is1362 and today i'm going hiking for one hour. mfp says that will burn 455 calories. if i take 1362 and minus 700 that leaves 600 plus 455 from exercise that's only 1000..........calories
  • How do I know if i have a 700 calorie deficit? Aren't I supposed to end up even at the end of the day? Or am I supposed to have 700 calories left over? Doesn't myfitnesspal put the deficit in automatically? Is that what I'm doing wrong? Matching calories in versus calories out?
  • Great advice about going to the Dr. But I all ready did that and I'm very healthy. Colesterol is fine, blood pressure, thyroid levels are all correct. I was hoping something would be wrong which would explain it but.....nadda. My hear rate monitor is alway higher than what I figure on My fitness pal...so I always go with…

  • I started My fitness pal on April 26. I have lost one pound in that time. I think in that whole time I have only gone over my calorie allotment one time. Does anyone have any suggestions? I thought the system was set up so I would lose one pound a week. I lost none in April or May. One pound in June.

  • I talked to a personal trainer yesterday and she thinks I have a food addiction. I've never had it put to me so strongly before. I never looked at it as an addiction. Maybe that is what I need to do in order to succeed. Any one else out there who is addicted like me?
  • Really investigate any personal trainer you go to. I myself went to one who made all kinds of promises and didn't keep any of them. They do push you harder than you would push yourself. But be really careful, there are not that many good ones around. I was ripped off by one but really helped by another for no charge. JUST…
  • Jeez, I think he should be charged with assalt. He may have provoked it but man........it seems like the world is going crazy no one seems to be able to control themselves.

  • Personally, I believe that no one knows better how to manipulate their body with the use of food than a body builder. They learn to be scientist 's with their food intake. Myself personally I would like a life other than being in the gym. But body builders eat, sleep and drink for results on their bodies. I just want a…

  • Yes, you would burn more calories. It would be like you weighed your weight plus the weight of the groceries.
  • I have been working out with exercise DVD's for years. Since I've turned 45 ish I've gained weight and it won't come off. I do enjoy the FIRM DVD's they are some of the best DVD's on the market. I just never get the results that I would like. I'm having a frustation couple of days.

  • It is very common to have to go back in. Do not worry. I have had to go back in too. They probably just didn't get a good picture.
  • If I do not work out first thing in the morning. I do not work out. People try to get me to change to shake up my body but I just can't do it. It's the morning or I skip it. So I work out in the morning.
  • Yes the straps are adjustable. I do not recommend the strapless monitors, as I have found them not to be accurate.
  • Try having smoothies. They pack lot's of nutritionj and you just drink them. Cn you change your schedule? It doesn't sound very healthy. Sorry.
