Apples, berries, nuts, salmon/tuna, tomatoes, lettuce, eggs, milk, Greek yogurt and cottage cheese, butter spray, goat cheese.

Maybe once a month, tops, and when I do go out it's usually for sushi.

Hard to tell! I look a little different now than I did at this same weight five years ago. But no matter what the change will be positive, so I wouldn't worry about it!

Something's not right, you should definitely have logged some losses by now. How certain are you of your calorie intake - are you truly logging everything? Are you using a food scale?
-
I agree with the above poster. Also, I used to let losses on the scale influence my eating patterns and food choices and NOT in a good way. Maybe you should refrain from weighing in too frequently and just focus on developing good behaviors.

I just turned 40 - so you can't mourn, no fair! Just kidding. I haven't been overweight in a really, really long time, but it wasn't until I was in my mid-30s that I shed the extra vanity pounds and really leaned out. So it absolutely can be done. I think it gets harder with age but certainly it's achievable.

Don't know the place but it sounds Tex Mex? That's limiting when watching calories. I would say fajitas, ceviche, or a big salad (sans chips, cheese, sour cream) would be good bets.

Looking good, girl!

I don't care for rest days, at least I did not use to - but as I am getting older, I'm trying to accept that they are necessary. Addressing the associated guilt for doing so is something I am currently dealing with.

Alcohol.

It's easy! I don't. :s

I'm guessing that's maybe two sizes? I'm 5'2" and went from 142-130 one summer during high school. I seem to remember that my new smaller clothes were two sizes down. Doesn't take much weight on a short frame.

OMG Julio's.... the only tortilla chips allowed in our home. Delish!!!

Agreed with the previous post, a food scale is a must! Measure, measure, measure. Be consistent in logging. And yes, forgive any slips - dwelling on that is pointless, much better to just start fresh the next day and recognize that sometimes life happens. Look for any reason you can to get up and move. Take the stairs.…

That would be the weight of what you ate.

You look really good, very fit, in both your pictures - but I totally understand what you mean. Going through a similar situation myself!
-
Uh... I'm not poking fun or trying to be funny - how can you tell if the eggplant is a dude?
-
Strong words but I think ultimately it's true - some people just do not want to acknowledge that there is work involved. Much easier to label the fit people as lucky, then they don't have to feel badly about their own laziness/apathy/etc.

I also take the bus into the city and get off several stops early and walk the rest of the way. Also walking at lunch, then to the bus stop in the evenings.

Honestly roasting it in the oven as you mentioned is my favorite way to cook it. It's delicious with curry powder as well, if you like curry. I've had a mashed version that was totally awesome, even tastier than mashed potatoes.

Lean Cuisine pizza and a dinner salad. I've cooked my butt off this week and declare the kitchen closed!

More like, 0 calorie snacks would certainly be ice.

Finally found the Salsa Ranch at Target recently - haven't had a chance to use it yet. But Chipolte Mango?! I must find this!

The Creamy Balsamic is probably my very favorite - I just tried the honey mustard recently and that one was great too. I love all the ones I've bought.

Easily average 2,000/day (my food logging isn't perfect so that's a ballpark). I do work out everyday and get at least 15K steps on top of that. I'm 40.

My six-year old daughter has been pining for "Taco Tuesday." Therefore, me, the hubby and little one will be enjoying a delightful dinner of crock pot chicken tacos and canned black beans. I don't buy into Valentine's Day too much. It's another Hallmark holiday to me, really more for the kids and of course I love to see my…

My alarm goes off at 3:55; on the treadmill within 10 minutes of getting up. Surprisingly, it's not that bad - although I've been a super early riser for years. I like the fact that I have ZERO distractions from hubby and kiddo plus I can watch the news before I head out.

It is hard to exercise after work. I didn't have any luck with that - not just due to being tired, but coming home after 6:00 PM to a husband and little one who need me made me feel terribly guilty! I started getting up a 4:00 AM so I can workout on the treadmill for an hour. It sounds crazy, but I have to leave at 6:00…

Super Bowl homebody here. I love the NFL - but it's hard to get into a game that starts late on a Sunday, lasts for hours, and my team is never playing in.
-
I'm coming out of a slump myself - never broke my log in streak, but I definitely let my exercise habits wane and I stopped being honest with my diary. I've learned the same lesson as you. Re-committing feels great. Good luck!
