  • For losing weight? No, it doesn't effect the efficiency if you can still pull through the workout. But again, see how it goes. Do it a couple of times with or without the snack and see what feels better. But especially when you're just trying to lose weight, not to gain a huge amount of muscle, you do NOT need to fuel your…
  • You can eat before or after your workout, it doesn't matter. You do not HAVE to fuel your body before a workout if you're feeling just fine. As long as you're not feeling deprived and you're within your calorie goal, you're good. :) Me for example, I can't eat before I workout, not even a snack, it makes me feel sick, so I…
  • If you're 10lbs away from your goal, you can totally go up with your calories. But do it little by little.. I mean if you're at a small calorie deficit, you will still lose weight and start to get used to your new healthy lifestile! :)
  • It depends how fast you run on your spot. If you really bring up those knees and do it in a fast paste, you should feel it burn. However, maybe your leg muscles are bigger than other muscles on your body, so running is easier for you than for example doing jumping jacks :) Everybody is different.
  • Some of MFP's calculations are just really off. 900 calories for an hour of walking - no way (except you're really obese). I burn a third of that when I run for the same time. I usually don't use the MFP calulators, I use the app runtastic to figure out my calorie burn. I would recommend you to download some sort of…
  • 357calories for walking sounds pretty high. Are those net calories burned? I burn 350 for 50 minutes of running. :O
  • Cottage cheese, definitely. It's sooo low in calories and you can make a salad out of it (70gr cottages cheese and as many cucumbers, tomatoes etc as you want) for around 100 calories! SO LOVELY. But also; Apples, canned vegetables (my favourite) and fruits fruits fruits!
  • I guess people are just concerned. Health is the number one goal on this website for most people, and if you're in a healthy range it seems that there is no reason to keep going. Especially because some people just do it because they THINK they had to look like some slim super model - and that's again, unhealthy. However,…
  • Did you even read the whole question?
  • Calorie wise it looks fantastic to me! Just try not to go as low on calories as you have the first couple of days. Maybe you should also try to add a little bit protein to it since you're on almost all days consuming way too many carbs and way too little protein than you should. :) But may I ask what you did to burn 641…
  • I will download the runtastic app for now, I'm curious to know how far I actually run and then I'll just go with the 100calories per mile. Thankyou all!
  • I have no idea actually, since I was running around corn fields, but it was quite a distance. I think I will just go by 350 calories. :) Thanks!
  • That gives me a huge number, 387 calories burned for 48 minutes. One site even told me it was 182, that's less than half ot that. Maybe I should invest in a heart monitor too or join a gym.
  • Thankyou! But I would like to know how many calories I actually burned, it helps me stay motivated, but I can never quite figure it out :/
  • I agree, I'm always worried when I hear about people doing insane workouts for 30 days with no rest days in between. My coach used to always have me take one day off working out my muscles so they can recover. Not just does it hurt less, but it also helps your muscles grow and prevents injury.
  • Girl running 5k in almost half an hour is amazing! I wish I could do that! I am not even overweight and I run just 3k in 35 minutes, if I'd push myself I could do it in 25-30 but noooo less lol. You can be proud of how fast you can run.
  • I have the exact same problem! My tummy is aaalways there, no matter how much I weight. Though it will definitely get smaller the more you lose, it just might take some time! And if nothing helps, work the areas your body actually responds to! Nobody will notice a little tummy when you show off your super toned legs or…

  • Her workouts are soooo intense, you will feel them even days after, trust me! Especially if you follow the mighty march calendar.
  • The fact that you are here shows that you're still not 100% convinced that your weight loss journey was a bad idea - and that's good. I will assume that you've already seen a doctor about this, since you got your blood checked, so there might not be much to help your hair loss, it might actually just be genetic. In my…
  • Yes mine click A LOT too. Google some exercises that will strengthen the muscles around your knees so there's less pressure on them. :)
  • Maybe your feet are uneven or you have flat feet! I used to have that exact pain when I played soccer until I got new soles for my shoes from my doc. I'm sure yours can help you too!
  • It is rude and something I do not just notice on this thread.
  • edit: @SezxyStef not angelabenderz
  • It is not. It is a weight where you'd be considered skinny, yes, but it is not unreasonable. It's a pretty bikini figure for the summer. It is neither unhealthy nor unreasonable. Do you have to be 120 in order to be freaking attractive and fit? NO. But CAN you be? YES.
  • ^^^ this. Can everybody please read this.
  • It might be that your body is just slow in losing weight. (People can be ignorant sometimes - "oh when I lose 1 lbs a week by eating 1800 calories then EVERYBODY must and obviously you're just not logging everything and cheating on yourself"-People, sigh) Does your diet bother you, is it hard for you to eat that little or…
  • A treat doesn't have to be food. :) Just yesterday I bought myself that awesome new pair of sweatpants I wanted to have for a long time. If you want to treat yourself with your favourite food but you're afraid you might overdo it - make it part of your regular day. You could have a tiny bit of cake every single day as long…
  • Some people on here are indeed pretty mean and ignorant, just like on every other site, but if you're asking something on here you should always make sure you mention all what you said above. People can't look inside your head. :) I'm sure everybody will understand once you've clearified all above.
  • You can add me too :)
