I dropped from 147kg to 69Kg. 69 was where I wanted to be. Tried to maintain, but in a year, crept up to 79Kg, not good. Back at 71Kg at the moment, so 2Kg to go to get back to goal. Honestly I found/find maintenance much harder than weight loss, because the temptation to eat more because I'm not trying to lose weight is…

I just made and ate pizza for tea. I did 70g of dough base, 35g of home made herby tomato sauce, 30g of mozerela, 15g of pepperoni, diced half of an orange bell pepper. Tasty. My sauce just has blitzed tomatoes and dried herbs.

It sounds interesting, but it's a long way to go for 18 minutes of running :/

I love bread. My absolute killer is fruit breads. Malt loaf, or hot cross buns, hot cross loaf, irwins fruit bread, Selkirk Bannocks, that kind of thing. I try, but I just can't avoid eating /the whole/ loaf. Oh, and pannetone. Gnnargh. It's making me need some by just thinking about it. I just had a toasted ciabatta roll…

Wish I got 900 an hour still :(

I have cups for doing us recipes. I loose fill solids, then flat top it. That's a cup. Then I tip it in a bowl and weigh the darn thing in gm.

MFP is great. Plenty of support an encouragement available. And yes, some lifestyle changes help. Eat better, move more.

I code, I game, I speak Klingon, play Harp, and I run. Dunno if that makes me geeky or nerdy :)

From sunny Northumberland :)

I'm starting to get this now, and I don't really know what to say. So far I've tended to shrug and change the subject :/

Basically because I'm a harpist.

Galaxy S running CM9 Awesome phone. Still an awesome phone after 2 years. Think I'll keep it another 12 months at least. I see no reason to change.

Thanks :-)

Lol, don't know about the celebrity thing. Lots have said I look younger though, thanks. Many years ago, some people thought I looked like UK comedy actor Rowan Atkinson.

Starting at 115kg, ending at 86. A 67lb loss:

Bullet in the Gun - planet perfecto . Oldie but goodie. Also, E-Type - True Believer I like Finnish Eurodance stuff to work out to. Waldo's People for example. Or Movetron.

Reaching 40, and with a young son made me buck my ideas up. By the time he's a mid teenager, I'll be into my 50s, and weight loss is never easier as you get older. I can now run back to back 10ks, and I tire the lad (4yo) out when running, playing hard outdoors, and I don't feel it. Hopefully this means I can be much more…

Northumberland. And it's gorgeous! Can't resist going out for a run every day. I'm not wasting these glorious afternoons. I can fit a 5k or 6k run in my lunch breaks :-))

Northumberland calling...

pretty much what I've dine since September. Lots of exercise and sensible eating. I try and never eat less than 1500 net of exercise. I'm on a goal of 1800 cals food. Went from 115kg ish to 91.4kg last weigh in. I'm targeting 86, but its getting a lot harder now.

I use EA Sports Active 2 on the PS3, and I don't have any issue with the HRM. The reading agrees with my polar, and the calories are broadly similar. The exercise transitions can be a bit tedious, but they do contain the instructions. You can largely skip the transitions, certainly the instructions if you're familiar with…

The only thing I use Wii Fit for now is to do weigh ins. I use it as my consistent place to check my weight. I only wish it did a proper job, and gave me KG instead of Stones. Who uses stones? Wii Fit may (or may not) be accurate, but I'm hoping it's at least consistent. Seems to be. If I do computerised workouts, I use EA…

I broke 30 minutes with a 5k on the roads today. Awesome happy :) Thanks to all the staff and people at mfp. There's no way id have done it without you

Thank you everyone. I'm going to try a real road tomorrow, with endomondo

Far as I could see, it wasn't about who could lose most, but who could put on the best river of tears. Those guys aced the percentage weight loss. Crappy emotional voting system. Don't think I'll be watching again

Is anyone still using this? I got the full game for £7 in the gameplay.com sale recently (big discount that!). Is there a myfitnesspal group?
-
Yeah, I am. I was also wondering the same thing. At worst, we could create one, I guess.
-
Woo!

Thanks everyone, some food for thought. I think my breakfast, and weekday lunches are the places I can make reductions without affecting the family meals, so I'll give that a try. Just need to invent myself a great low carb breakfast and desk lunch :-)

I will have a slice of ryvita.
