  • Calories are calories. I would count them. BUT...if you're out of calories in your daily allowance and hungry, fruit and veggies is the way to go :)
  • I'm in the exact same boat. Found out yesterday I'm pregnant. Was working on weight loss but still overweight. Last pregnancy I put on 35 lbs. Which I guess isn't horrible but I was starting out a lot lighter. Just want to keep it in check and stay healthy. Add me if you're interested :)
  • I have considered insanity myself but had to hold off for medical reasons. The above statements are all true. No one can tell you the inches and pounds you will lose. But there are LOTS of insanity success stories on the forums. Look them up or talk to people who have done the program and see what their results were.…
  • Listen to your body (and your doctor). I was active during my pregnancy. Tons of walking and swimming. I also went bike riding right up to the 9th month without any problems at all. And my doctor had no problems with this. Although my online research initially presented it as a 'no no'.
  • I do find that depending on strap length, cup size can be effected. While I fit 38 C in some brands in others its 36 D. As you lose inches around your torso it may appear that you are increasing in cup size when in fact you have stayed the same. If you are in fact gaining cup size, sorry I have no tips for you. All I can…
  • LOL! Have to agree with this one 100%! :)
  • My nutritional counselor asked me to drink a glass with every meal. I love tea anyways and could drink it all day long. Just on my first week of my tea drinking schedule but I'll keep you posted if I observe any noticeable benefits to it :)
  • I'm a mom of an almost 2 year old boy. And VERY determined! Added you :)
  • LOVE IT! Those are the best! :)
  • Personally I would ask my doctor to redo the blood work. Making a judgement about your overall health can not be made using one single number. It is very likely with the changes you have made to become healthier that those numbers will have changed much more significantly then the scale. Good luck!
  • I haven't read all the comments but don't know what type of feedback you've gotten...but I started my 10 month old on homogenized milk with no issues. My son was eat a very healthy weight and I was done breast feeding. My doctor said there was no point in switching to formula just to switch again in a couple months. Also…
  • Great challenge! Accepted and completed! Thanks for continuing these :)
  • This one will definitely be a challenge but have to try! :) Would LOVE to see the challenges continue!!
  • Accepted and DONE! Yay! Legs feel warm and fuzzy. And my creative mood. 20 reps, 10 sets with stretch in between, switching the baby from one hip to the other for each rep. Now that is what I call using what I have available to me! lol! :) Good luck everyone with your challenge :)
  • As having worked a delivery job...I did not get paid minimum wage AND had the added expense of insuring my car And paying my own gas. Not to mention the so called delivery charge, in most cases, does not go to the driver. I've worked for 3 different companies as a driver over the years and they pretty much all operate the…
  • Mini challenge accepted!!!
  • That is absolutely motivating! I can't wait to be where you are :) Right now I am the girl in the first pic with about 30 pounds to go. Congratulations on a great success! All the hard work really does pay off! :)
  • Thanks! Much appreciated!
  • Here's just one article (http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=strange-but-true-drinking-too-much-water-can-kill) but there are many. Most cases of water intoxication leading to death are in the case of endurance athletes. You need to drink A LOT of water in a very short period of time to be at risk for this.…
  • Love it so much I've started growing it in my vegetable garden!! One warning for others who might try as well...easy to grow yourself but takes up a TON of SPACE in the garden!
  • I'm in the same boat as a lot of you. I have a few really good friends. But at 30 (2 years ago) I moved 5 hours away from them for my spouses job. We still keep in touch, OCCASIONALLY! I see them a few times a year for a day, which is a trip I always have to make. No hard feelings about that though. I am the one who moved…
  • I'd like to get in this too please!
  • MFP and it's forums have been a great resource for me! I found it a year ago but just recently returned with more motivation then I have had in a long time. I have used the forums and made some friends to start building a support network and it really does keep me on track and accountable. You can do the same! Good luck in…
  • Just starting my journey. I have about 40 pounds to lose. Maybe a little more. But these photos are so inspirational and motivating. Makes me want to get up from the computer and start working out right now! I will be taking before photos today so I can share my success with everyone when I reach my goals :)
  • Very cute photo...and what an accomplishment!!! Congratulations!!
  • I'm absolutely in the same boat! I have a 20 month old son and I have been doing my best to keep him busy and active but now I want to set an example for overall healthy habits, especially when it comes to food. I have about 40 lbs to lose and I want to teach him early to take care of himself and the importance of a…
  • I sent you a friend request. I am going through very similar challenges. My son is 20 months and as his second birthday creeps closer I think "ahhh!! I'm at my heaviest ever!" It bites the big one! But I'm on track and have taken the same stance as you. More support from people with similar goals will make this journey a…
  • I also had a miscarriage at 7 weeks about a month ago. It was devastating and I'm still working through it. However, I used it as an opportunity to motivate. I am definitely interested in having more kids (I have one right now). I want to have the healthiest body I can so that it will be ready to carry a baby when the time…
