Warrior Diet, low carb, low fat, etc...does not matter. Just focus on calories in vs calories out and stay within your macro nutrient percentages. weigh the foods you eat to get accurate data and all will fall in place if you focus on the above.

could not agree more. you need to find out what your actual calorie intake needs to be and not just assume because thats what it was 6 months ago. If I ate what my calorie intake was supposed to be 6 months ago, I would start gaining weight.

hahaha! Maybe the mystery gift is a nifty alarm clock that lets you know when to take the wraps off :o

One of the things I hate hearing about the most is the "never have time" excuse. There is always time, you just have to make the time. I am one of the busiest people I know, juggling my business, family, fitness, and life all around within a 24 hour period. What works best for me is setting aside a few hours on sunday and…

Sorry if I am so "blunt" but if you want it bad enough then there would be no need for starting over again and again. ITs not about what you can do differently but more about what you can do to change your lifestyle around and stick with it. weight loss isnt easy, if it were obesity wouldnt be such a big factor these days.…

If your Cycling "22" miles per day and only eating 1200 calories something is wrong. Either your lying about what your actaully doing OR your lying about what your actually doing. You might think your only eating 1200 calories a day but in actuality it most likely way more then that, with a closed diary its hard to tell.…

Here is a step by step process that helps me not eat all the donuts, candy, pizza etc that people bring into work Step 1. Dont eat it. that its! works every time.

Proper diet and excercise > Garcinia cambogia. No such thing as a diet "miracle" pill

I log religiously every day and provide support and motivation for everyone. Please feel free to add me!

Use this calculator, I find it to be the most accurate and I have pretty good success with it. http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm

^^^^ EXACTLY! you need to think of it as changing your lifestyle for the long run. no matter what diet or macros you choose, the bare basics are CICO. No magic in weight loss.

Its all about personal preference. There are millions of macro ratios out there and the majority of them work. When eating really clean, which currently i am, I go with 40% protein 40% carbs and 20% fats. I think the macros that you have are fine, as long as you can stay within those ranges and your feeling satisfied. If…

its all about personal preference. IIFYM allows more flexibility in your diet, like if you want a cookie or something after dinner. As long as it fits within the ranges of your macros then that cookie will be ok. But when it comes down to it, its still all about CICO

yes and no. Brown rice is always better because its the "unrefined" version of white rice. It still has all its natural wholeness. But having some white rice isnt going to kill you.

This guy is 100% correct on every point. A food scale is going to be your most valuable tool. Dont use measuring cups to measure solids, you need to use a food scale. $20 at your local grocery store...and yes give it time!

IMO Fajita wrap and sweet potato fries all the way!!! But if your worried about balance or macros I would go with steak for the fats and proteins, basmati rice, and find out if they have some sort of steamed vegetable.

I know how it feels. I used to be extremely fit while in the military. Then within a year of being out, I gained like 60 pounds! Seemed like it was out of no where lol. Best of luck to you on your journey! Always remember to stay focused and if a diet or exercise plan isnt working for you, just make adjustments instead of…

Your body is not going to go into starvation mode. I started IF a few weeks ago and so far I have had pretty good results from it. I go by the daily 16:8 method. Yes there is a lot of conflicting information out there, the best resource is going to be your own experience and results. Also here is a great article from…

When you measure everything, make sure you only use measuring cups or measuring spoons for liquids, not solids. I used to measure my peanut butter with a table spoon and found that I was actually eating double the amount per serving instead of weighing it for the accurate amount.

short, sweet, and to the point. seriously, if you are truly motivated and wanting to change your lifestyle then there is no waiting, you just do it. The best advice I can give you is find something and stick with it! what ever diet you go on or exercise program you start, stick with it for at least 1 - 2 months. your body…

awesome job!! keep up the good work :)

There are basically 3 types of intermittent fasting you can follow. I personally feel the daily16:8 method works best. although I am thinking about adding a 24 hour fast once a week into the mix, but that will be later down the road if at all. check out this article that may answer some of your questions.…

Thanks for adding the point that you dont have much desire for bad food. I am experiencing the same exact thing. I really dont care to eat any "bad" foods and dont have any cravings.

its incredible! IF is for sure amazing. I cant wait until what the results are a month or two down the road. Congrats on your outcome BTW! :)

I am from Holland Michigan, actually lived in kalamazoo for a while!

creating a "diet" and fitness regime that fits what I like to eat and what I like to do to stay active. Its a YOUR lifestyle change so sticking to a diet fad or a fitness plan that someone has created isn't YOUR lifestyle. Take the first few months of your journey and just experiment. Find healthy ways to eat foods you…

Start Small and Experiment This is where I think that the majority of people fail. They have their goal in mind, they know how many calories they need to eat and what their macros are, but they expect results over night. The truth is before you can expect any results your body is going to need to adapt to the change you…

I carb cycle throughout the week. On my low carb days (Wednesday - Sunday) I keep my carbs less then 10% of my calories intake, so around 50g of carbs per day. Remember carbs are not the enemy, even on low carb diets. Just make sure you get enough healthy fats and protein to keep you full throughout the day. My macros for…
