what kind of chocolate eclair is only 200 calories? also for 1.5 bananas they'd have to be pretty massive wouldn't they? I think the idea itself is good, just not the execution

Ooh something from Australia for once! Thanks for the tip I'll look out for it!

I don't understand what impact you think they'll have on body toning? But superfoods aren't only the trendy/expensive things people like to show off in their oatmeals haha. Broccoli, spinach, tomatoes are also superfoods (not expensive) and yes you'll be doing your body good by incorporating them into your diet more.…

There are also alot of great recipes using cauliflower as a base!

I wasn't overweight when I was in high school so I've never been on any specific "fad" diet (good thing too because I was naive as hell) I do remember when me and my friends bought those Garcinia Cambogia pills though thinking they would magically drop a few kilos of us without any diet/exercise change, smh

I have on here, but unless they're downright filthy I just find them flattering not really pervy? At least someone is finding me attractive haha so why dislike it

I wish PB2 was sold in supermarkets in Australia, also I've never tried coffee creamer because we don't have them here (as far as I'm aware). Mostly though I wish we had a Whole Foods!

NUTELLA hands down. Honestly though no matter how high in calories/little nutrition it has I always feel like it's worth it haha.

There was actually a show called River Cottage on last night where the guy made beetroot chocolate brownies which looked so amazing! I really want to try it, well a healthier version. I also like putting them in juices/smoothies. And when I used to eat cheese I used to love a good ol' beet, cheese and lettuce sandwich.

I'm from the Sydney area! There's also a group for Aussies if you're interested :) http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/240-aussie-aussie-aussie

Err why put yourself through that? If you're going for a light walk yeah sure, but if you're burning up a sweat at the gym jeans would be the LAST thing I'd want on my body. And the chafing...

For potassium, do you eat spinach? I add a bit to everything and it's way higher in potassium than an equivalent amount of bananas.

Cut up carrot/celery/apple with a tablespoon of peanut butter (I use PB2 though so thats about 20ish cals 1Tbsp). Something kind of random that I also like to do is get a hard boiled egg, cut it in half and then mix a triangle of the Laughing Cow Light Cream Cheese with the yolk and maybe a bit of mustard and TADA…

I am 19, Australian, and 5'4" and have lost 27 lbs and only have a little more to lose (i log every day). I'm currently getting into strength training and trying my best to eat as cleanly as I can. Feel free to add me, I'd especially like to friend other women who are noob-lifters such as myself

Hi welcome! I think you'll find a lot of people here are struggling with similar things. I also suffer from anxiety which has definitely caused me a lot of disordered eating habits in the past but since doing regular exercise I'm doing way better in that respect. Cutting out take-away and almost all junk-food (I still…

Less calories does not equate to healthier?? Subway it's all about what you put on it. I never have dressings and just pile on veggies and my sub (6' roast beef or club on wheat) is always less than 400 calories. I would rather choose a higher calorie option which I knew would have far better macros and keep me full. Plus…

You are as beautiful as you are cheesy.

Could I just ask if you got your plan from a person trainer at the gym? I've been going to the gym for 6 months now but like you I've been doing about 80% cardio and a little weight training on various machines. I'm unsure whether consulting a trainer before I seriously begin would be a good idea or not really matter..

Seeing as I usually eat quite big lunches which are very carby I've been looking for dinners which are high protein and full of veggies and still delish! These are two I like and you can swap around lots of things to suit your taste. Crunchy Chicken Lettuce Cups (this is delicious but very light, about 230 cals for one…

19 year old from Sydney here, all Aussies feel free to add me! :)

I have a square of dark chocolate almost every day and still have been consistent will my weight loss. Don't deprive yourself if you think you will end up binging, 1 square could be 40-50 calories. I love Lindt 70% dark chocolate and as a treat Club dark almond chocolate! But yeah you have to learn moderation. Something…

I'm really glad I saw this thread! I've been plateaued for about 3 weeks now and have decided it's time to up my calories from 1200 to somewhere more reasonable HOWEVER I'm incredibly afraid of gaining again but I want to do my body right by it. I've maintained 1200 cals for about 3-4 months now so my plan is to up by…

Unsweetened vanilla almond milk but skim milk when I buy coffee out. I wish almond milk would become available at coffee shops! Can't really acquire the taste for soy

Usually your calories are higher at the start (as you are heavier) then go down as you adjust them to suit your stats. Beginning with 1200 then immediately increasing won't "kick start" anything, it would be best to just start with what is recommended for you now (TDEE method or some sort of calorie calculator I suppose).

I'm in a similar position, I've lost 25 pounds from cycling/other cardio and although I'm basically hit my weight goal I feel and look weak due to minimal weight training. I agree with the above suggestion about having a session with a personal trainer, usually you can get some sort of introductory deal I think. I'm…

Yep I feel you! Apart from the stress factor I find it's also difficult to be part of the "uni lifestyle" when friends want to go out drinking or take-out all the time. Stay strong though just take it a step at a time, we can do this :)

- 1/3 cup macro organics rolled oats - 1/2 cup vanilla unsweetened almond milk - tbsp of honey or chocolate pb2 - half a banana - some goji berries, pepitas, flaked almonds and maybe coconut chips When I'm in a hurry it's just 2 slices of wholemeal toast with vegemite lol. This is awesome inspiration though thanks OP! I…

Well I can kind of understand how it would feel to have your appearance and weight constantly under scrutiny as a celebrity. Imagine having a cheat day and then seeing yourself on a magazine cover with "so and so piling on the pounds" or something. God.

Well unless you juice your own oranges or something, almond milk will always definitely be a much healthier alternative. You can't exactly compare the two though? And if you want to know the health benefits why not just google it
