Bacon! And lots of it! Stay hydrated, and take potassium supplements if needed!

Yes, overwhelming to say the least. Can't believe I've spent 20 hours and am only at 15% completion.

Keto is great! Nice job!

Started Keto September 1 of this year, and today I'm down 17 pounds. I have only worked out twice, and it was mostly weights for 20-30 minutes and a little running (1 mile).

Late to the party but I'm an Assassins Creed guy...currently at 99% completion in Syndicate!

Here's one study (not 2-3 years), but from my research those who have lost weight and stayed keto, have had regular numbers. I'm sure it depends on the individual and eating habits. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19641727

Started Keto Sept 1 - it's amazing and packed full of benefits! Learned the hard way about Cheat Meals though :(

I've experienced severe migraines my whole life, however I noticed after the keto flu (day 2-5) I've no longer suffered!

My wife and I started Keto on September 1. With the month coming to a close, we are both near the 10 lb loss mark. I'll keep checking back on this thread!

Taking an active approach to logging, reminders using my Forerunner 935, and enjoying activities outside/inside at a local YMCA.

I'm only speaking from personal experience, but it's easy to get caught up in the moment and go completely in the wrong direction regardless of nutrition goals. If that hasn't happened to you, I congratulate you and your self discipline!

This couldn't be more true! Thank you for your insight!

Desk job here - I work out during lunch 3-4 days a week, and try to be more active after work with my family whether it's going for walks or running around in the backyard with the kiddos. As far as eating, I would just adhere to MFP as best as you can. Deskjobs can be boring, so snacking can fill that void. Healthy snacks…

I've read they are essentially the same watches under the hood. The Fenix 5 is double the weight of the 935, but lacks contemporary looks. I decided on the 935 for this reason after eyeing the Fenix 5X for a while.

Thank you all for your replies, I planned in advance for tonight and I'm trying to be very mindful before I order!

Many places we go are not national chains and don't have nutritional information on MFP. The issue is after I've eaten, I only THEN realize I haven't done myself any good!

As a teen, I would drink 4-5 cans a day of Diet Coke (since that's all my parents drank) and as an adult it grew worse. When I joined MFP, I researched health articles and read about the effects of Aspartame and truly didn't understand until I stopped drinking it for a couple days. I had intense migraines and nausea. I…

Scale - I weigh everyday, not just for accountability but if it goes up, I take a look at sodium levels from the day before and makes me more conscious.
-
Especially after a day of running! It's just part of the process.

Every morning, my wife and I calibrate our scale using the same kettlebell sitting in the bathroom. Takes the guesswork out of wondering if your scale isn't accurate.

Food is not a reward and I think it just sets up error in diet. Rewards for me include swimming activities, golf lessons, movie theater date night, house party (Mario kart tourney), and as I get closer to my goal, an official Vikings jersey and clothing shopping spree.

Every morning, but the belt tells it like it is!

I'm currently doing this. Greek yogurt, 1% Cottage Cheese, protein shakes, natural peanut butter and 100% whole wheat bread sandwiches, turkey sausage hot dogs, just to name a few.

Optimum Nutrition 100% Gold Standard Whey Protein. Around 120 calories for a rounded scoop and tastes great!

When I first started, it was tough that first week. Remember there is no shame in repeating weeks or gradually working up your pace until you feel comfortable running for those intervals. Good luck to you!

Usually a couple hours after a small meal. If you still feel full, try walking for 15-20 minutes beforehand to "test the waters" so to speak. It also depends on your intensity and duration as well. In my opinion, I wouldn't recommend eating anything that sits with you, such as steak, before a run.

Because it's awesome! No, seriously it helps with everyday bodily functions and is good for skin, sleep, and staying hydrated. I'm a reformed caffeine addict and all I drink is water now!
