  • Oh man... I am SO utterly confused, and overwhelmed!! Anyone care to help me out with this? Age: 26 Heigh 5'10 CW: 238.8 BF% according to the site 47.4% I'm a stay at home mom, but sit a LOT. Work out 1/2 hr most days (5/7) running usually 5mph for 15 minutes, 3.5mph for the other 15. No weights, no anything else. Anyone…
  • I do greek yogurt & blueberries for an evening snack (if my calories allow)... and sprinkle with a bit of cinnamon! :) It satisfies me and fills me up! :) Best of luck finding something that works for you!
  • totally in! But I'm waaaay bigger then any of you! lol I'm 5'10 Start weight: 251.8 current weight: 244.4 Goal for June 21: 190!
  • I've got 50 pounds to lose! I'm hoping to reach my goal by February 17th, so very close to when you'd like to meet your goal. Best of luck to you hun! :)
  • October 3rd in Edmonton Alberta - my FIRST run ever! :) I'm very excited as I've raised over $500 for research, and have 3 women who have been effected with Breast Cancer. I'm so excited to be running for them!
  • I've never tried this myself, and don't know if it's good for you, but a girl I know has done this, and lost a HUGE amount of weight SUPER fast... http://healthandlight.com/mastercleanse.htm She even said that she felt fabulous and had a TON of energy... it's worth a go I guess if you're super desperate.
  • what exactly is a slendertone? I've never heard of it before! :)
  • oooo that sounds perfect!! I've been craving ice cream recently...this sounds fabulous. Do you think you could do it with Skim milk?
  • I am the same with weighing everything that passes my lips... I have to - this has become an obsession for me. My husband looks at me funny when I'm constantly weighing things. I don't necessarily "hoard" my calories, because I love food too much, but I definately get what you're going through.
  • Something that one person does, doesn't necessarily work for everyone else. So just bear in mind, your results will more then likely be different then someone else's. For me, I just walk, and drink lots of water! As well, I just make smarter choices about my food, instead of eating junk all the time, I make a conscious…
  • Sorry, should be fixed now! :)
  • Why not put a little notebook into your bag/purse, and write down everything that passes through your lips. THAT way when you have a chance to put it into your MFP you know exactly what you've eaten all day. *hugs* Hope that you get your snacking under control - I know I have the same issue Ugh.
  • I too was in this class... I had lost 3 babies, and I figured it was because of my weight.. I ended up going on fertility drugs in order to have my son. BUT Now that he's here, I want to have enough energy to play with him like a mommy should! SO I've started trying to lose weight as well! Not to mention, my OH and I are…
  • Great job! :) Looks fab!!

  • I'm 5'10.5" ... CW is 237.2, started on MFP at 260, which was my pre-pregnancy weight. My highest weight was 278 when I was pregnant with my son (who was born in February) I wear a size 20 top, and an 18 bottom - both of which are starting to get loose on me! I'm hoping to meet my first goal of 230 by the 17th of July for…
  • hmm.. I bet my BIL the other day that I had bigger calves then him, because he looked like he had chicken legs... His were 15 1/2", and he's probably 180 pounds, 5'9, and VERY toned... I was 245 at the time 5'10 and my calves at 17"!! I don't have a "big" bone structure, it's more medium, and I don't find my calves to be…
  • I buy packs of chicken breasts from the grocery store, and either bake then in a frying pan with a little bit of olive oil and some thai (epicure) seasoning, and then slice them and put them in the fridge for salads, or meals! :) It's a great way to have something fast and easy and awesome good in the fridge for protein!…

  • Hi Mel!! Welcome to MFP! I'm also a new mommy and will help support you along the way!! :) How much weight were you looking to lose? Or were you just looking to get more active? Kori
  • It's usually best to stick to one scale... any way that you could always weigh yourself at the Dr's office? I find that different scales tend to be off quite a bit. Plus it depends on what you're wearing, if it's the exact same as it was when you weighed in at home.
  • Hi there, I just started the 30 day shred today - I believe you're supposed to do it everyday for the 30 days to work out for you! :) My cousin is doing it as well and she's doing it every day! :) Best of luck!!
