  • Hey "H" hope had a good mornin, you can try getting a food scale, to measure your food, or do your planning every night on the food postings,as I do, to see how much food in take you can have in order to stay with in your daily calorie alotment. If you can get a hold of a weight watchers points counting book, and convert…
  • It true, you just started give yourself a break. Your body will react soon and start to drop or you maybe lose inches. As long as you feel good and have energy keep it going. Need more time, don't give in, have you favorite food but in moderation and as part of your calorie intake. It is a life style change we are making…
  • You look great and beautiful Guns, not if you win, but when you win let me know. Your a great role model girl, doing it for you and all of us. Your a great friend and fabulous person with wonderful qualities. Your dream will come true I can feel it.
  • Agree with you, when I'm feeling low, I get a one hour massage and come out relaxed and ready to take on the world again, relieves the stress, anger or what ever I am feeling down about, plus helps with the cyatic nerve on my right leg. Your doing it Ash, just keep itgoing, it will all come out good in the end.
  • Will miss ya, keep up the good work, be here if you return.
  • Agree breakfast is good, have smaller meals and snacks in between to keep you going. You know the rest, you've been through it, good luck.
  • Awesome, great, feel happy for you, as they say, nothing feels better than thin and fit. Keep up the great job girl.
  • Agree with don't worry about the protein along as your within you calories, need it for muscles, etc. Doing fine girl, look great in your fotos.
  • Yes, you can work on the bicep but also don't give up, be mentally ready for it. There is a machine at Bailey's club that I used to get ready to do them. You put weight on it and it helps lift that percent of your body weight, or you can have someone hold you by the waist or legs and help you lift till your arms get…
  • Baked at 350, breaded with a bit of garlic, onion powder, lemon pepper, careful not to dry it out, should be very thinly sliced. Enjoy, a beer would help, kidding.
  • What the other members say is right, it's expensive and you have the same thing here at MFP for free. I am a life member(free now) and still go weigh in ounce a month for more support.Lost about 70 pound, but the meetings got boring after a year or so. You are doing great, but if you want more support try it out. It is 40…
  • Give it a chance, your probably building muscle. Couple of months more and you should begin to see result, not major one, but some change. It wont happen over night, keep it up for a year or so and you'll become used to eating healthy and have better result. Has taken me about a year and a half to get toned and more…
  • Don't sweat it, your only eating half. You can work it off, take a nice long walk tonight. Enjoy it and the weekend.
  • Don't give up yet girl, not everyone is born with the skill. I've been doing step for about five months now and at times kick the step during the class. It takes practice, you can do it, keep trying. Take a seniors class twice a week and step on Tuesdays. Be confident in your self hang in there.
  • Totally agree 120, you look sexy and great in you photo.
  • Don't know if milk is bad really , but am lactose intolerant. Messes with my stomach, don't touch the stuff myself. I do like the almond milk, you can keep the soy. Everybody has their own opinion, so don't worry about others.
  • I'm too late with advice, everyone has said it. I myself like the 3 small meals and 3 small snacks. It has helped me for almost 2 yrs. The exercising is up to you, your schedule. I'm a morning person up a 6 all the time. Try it, if it doesn't work change it to fit you.
  • Hi A., Say away from the exercise calories, unless your really. really desperate. An hour a day is really not that bad. The only one who can answer the question is you. How do you feel after the hour? I don't think four hours a day, three times a week is bad for me, but I know there will be a time when my body wont be able…
  • You can try doing narrow and wide dull downs, shoulder raises machine, bicep extensions, reverse flys, dips machine, and bench presses. As the lady says, if you can do more than 8 -10 go up on the weight. As for exhausting the muscle, that to me is if your really trying to build the muscles and not tone it. Good luck.
  • 5 or 10 minutes is more than some people can do, doing great, Keep it up and have fun, I know it's easier said than done. WTG!!!
  • Agree with, less weight more reps. That's what I do with most of my weight lifting now. It does build muscle and keeps you tone. Like your new photo, your arms look good to me. Enjoy your day.
  • Your fine with what your taking, unless your trying to help the joints or your doctor told you too.MSM/Glucose-min is good for the joints if you work out a lot. I take it, it seems to be helping. If you take extra vitamins your body uses what it need and flushes out the rest.

  • My son went there, loves it, and swears we are part Irish, could be. Would like to visit some day. Have a great day.
  • Nice, it's always better to have company in our struggles, lol.
  • Ruff job, got a lot of good advice from all. String cheese, crystal light drinks and nuts are my addition to the cooler. Have a great day.
  • Good info, but T-rex isn't a good example (not human). Can't beat the taste of a good steak, just eat in moderation, once in a while.
  • Glad to hear that you are accepting who you are. I wish more people would do this, instead of wasting time wishing they were someone else. I like your way of thinking. Keep it up and good luck on your journey. You can reach your destination, just keep plugging away at it.
  • I tend to stay away from those places for that reason. you see all this food and it's like the AA person in a bar (temptation). If, you must eat a little protein, carbs, and mostly fruit and veggies. You can have a dessert, but cut it in half and share it with someone. Don't cut your food intake from another day to make up…
  • I agree with what the other said, but you don't have to do heavier weights. You can do less weight just more reps. If you have the time to workout everyday you can work on different parts of the body (arms-Mon,legs-Tues, etc.). I do all part of my body and aerobics, but more reps than heavier weights. Ive gone down from a…
