  • I am on day 3 of the dvds and after doing the first two days I am a believer. They kicked my butt! Very high energy and difficult to keep up with but what a great feeling when done with it.
  • I'm in, did not do so great in July so I'm giving it another try.
  • Heck yes I feel the same way from time to time.
  • Beating yourself up will not change what you did not do last week so start fresh now, weigh at the end of the week and go from there. Everyone needs a break now and then. Heck, maybe it did you some good. I read that Jillian Michaels says when you are at a plateau you should stop exercising and counting calories for a few…
  • You should not feel the least bit guilty. You do need some time away and what you are doing when you are away is not only good for you physically but mentally too. He will get over it and when he sees the results in both your body and mind he will be glad he found a way to deal with it. My husband used to pull the same bs…
  • Milan, MI...Welcome!
  • Congrats on your accomplishment!
  • I wish I could say that I am in and pull it off but there is no doubt in my mind that I have a sugar addiction. I am doing well staying in my calorie range, working out, and eating way better than I used to but my fear is that if I add one more thing to my plate I will blow it all. I have read alot about it and and…
  • You don't have to stop and you should not stop. Exercise is so good for our bodies and our minds. Heck, the mind part is a big part of why I exercise. I am a happier person when I exercise regularly. Keep doing it FOR YOU. You will just be maintaining your weight now. As far as the rest goes, when you least expect it…
  • Fiber will also help you to stay feeling full longer. You should be consuming between 25-40 grams per day.
  • I feel the same way some days, but like you I push through it because I know afterwards I am going to feel so good. The guilt of not doing it is worse than the urge to skip it. Stay strong, you can do it!
  • You are already on the right track just by having a positive attitude. You did it before and you can do it again. Good luck on your journey.
  • Wow! That is incredible. Good for you.
  • You can eat anything you want and as long as you are staying in your calorie goal and working out you will still lose weight. Good Luck!
  • I had a great week, doubled up my cardio every day but one (i did 45 min. instead of 60) and I have been doing strength training. Lowered my calorie intake to 1200 and stayed within it all week and still did not lose a single pound. Talk about frustrating. I refuse to let it get me down though. I am going to continue on…
  • Huge difference, you look great! Keep up the good work.
  • Think about how good you feel on the days that you exercise and eat right and it will help inspire you to stay on track. Everyone has days where they slip you just gotta get back up and start again. You can do it!
  • I'm in but how do we stay in check with each other for support? Do you create a group or something? I have been on here for a couple months now but my current group of friends is slacking so I am joining other groups for support. I am going to lose 10 pounds this month, period, but I would like some support. SW 165.5 week…
  • There is no such thing as fast and healthy if you want to lose weight and keep it off. Healthy is eating right and working out every day. I did the "fast" diet a couple years ago and it was great! I lost 27 pounds in 3 months. I just stayed in the 1200 a day calorie range and worked out for a minimum of 30 minutes a day. I…
  • Didn't sound like a rant to me sounded like good advice and TRUTH. I read a post the other day I think you would have loved. It was along the same lines. Good nutrition and exercise is the ONLY way to lose weight and keep it off. It is a lifestyle not some 4, 8, 10 week program that you join, lose some weight, go off of…
  • I'm in! I am off work for the enitre month from my full time job so it's the perfect time for me to up my workouts. Not to mention my niece is getting married on August 13 and I really want to look good at her wedding. What a great surprise it would be for my hubby to come home from working in another state and see his…
  • Don't be so hard on yourself. Everyone has bad days but knowing it and accepting it are good. Just get back on track tomorrow and you'll be feeling better before you know it.
  • Having a goal is a good place to start. I know that when I have a good day, like yesterday, it inspires me to stay on track. I feel so good when I have a good workout and stay within my calories.
  • I don't know what I did wrong with this but there was no rolling it into a bar. I ended up puttin wax paper in a 8x8 baking dish and then putting the goop I made into it and freezing it so I could then cut them into bars. Very tasty but also very messy.
  • I would increase my activity. Minimum of 30 minutes a day, longer if you are already doing that. Also, 25 to 40 grams a day of fiber in your diet. Fiber helps to get things moving and keeps you feeling full.
