I *think* your tummy will never be the same (depends on your body, heredity, etc) but not sure...your muscles should recover unless you had major diastis (sp?) or something. I know I got HUGE with my babies (4 of them...and some pretty big babies too) and my muscles are pretty darn good! BUT (big but here)....I have tons…

Great job! And I can't believe how many pounds you lost!!! You rarely see that with the 30 DS!!! Way to go!
-
Yay!!! That's awesome!
-
You are doing so great! Keep it up!
-
I see a big difference! I think maybe it would show more if you had on the same pants in the after pic but I can still see it! Keep up the good work and don't give up. :)

This ^^^^^^!!!! I suffer from depression and I know that any kind of emotional/personality disorder makes life tough...but so do learning disabilities, etc! You just have to get treatment and try harder than everyone else. When you get married you are supposed to be cleaved to your spouse--not your dad/mom/sister/etc. Your…

I also use circuit training for the 30 Day shred....but I don't think I get anywhere near 400 calories on mine!? I think it's in the 200s. Right now I"m doing ripped in 30 and using the same. :) I think it actually doesn't burn much so I do my elliptical or run also. It's a killer workout though! Best wishes. Listen to her…

What a beautiful story! Thank you for sharing and for pointing out your wife's influence and support. ETA: and thank you ESPECIALLY for your service to our country! :D

Great job! That is an intimidating workout (from someone who's btdt)! Good job for jumping right in and doing something so challenging.

Sounds to me like you are taking responsibility and ready to get this in gear. :) Your title of your post insinuates it was the surgery that failed...but the body of your post says you realize it is your responsibility at this point. :) Good for you! Get your body moving, follow the nutritional information for your surgery…

Ewwww, seriously? I can't stand to not wear a bra partly BECAUSE of the humidity and heat!!!! I live in south Texas where it's often of the armpit level of humidity. I don't want skin on skin in any area and that includes UNDER the boobs! Ick! I wear one even for sleeping most of the time (I also have children that are old…

I think this falls under "it's the thought that counts"....they thought they were being nice, you thanked them and you kept your resolve. You're right IMO...you can't let guilt and how other people might think affect your decision to eat clean. Good for you! Hopefully in the future when you have some time and success under…

Great job! And awesome that you are doing it together :)

Great progress! You should be very proud for not just losing weight but doing the work to take control of your life and health. Best wishes on the rest of your journey!!!!
-
As well you should be proud! That is an awesome loss and a wonderful inspiration. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice difference in your pics! :) Way to go!

Wow! You look amazing! Keep up the good work and you will reap the benefits.

Wow! That's great work :) I hate when great pics of my kids include not so great pics of me....good attitude to cherish that picture!
-
Great job! There is definitely a visible difference :)

I agree with this. I don't know that church would answer all of your questions...depends on what church and what they teach. I think the Bible teaches what we need to know about Heaven. :)

Yep. I was diagnosed with IBS as a child and it's only been recently that I figured out that just means they didn't know what it was (and since dr's don't like to admit that..they have a diagnosis!). Certain things do trigger mine though. Fatty foods, milk, eggs and probably more. Those are just the most obvious. And…

Bahahahahahahaha!!!!! I'm there! ;) One previous poster gave a good description of how to get your armpits...the one with the hand between the shoulder blade...it gives it an "outward" curve kind of like a barbie doll. LOL
-
great job! You can definitely get to your goal if you've come this far! :)
-
That is amazing that you enrolled yourself and are getting help for yourself. You are making great strides in realizing that eating is not secret and it doesn't need to be considered "shameful". ((HUGS)) and keep up the good work!

You look great! :)

Great job!!!!

Remember to figure in time of the month too-not just your af but ovulation can cause a slight weight gain. That added with all the other things (if you've, ahem, pooped, how much water you are drinking, etc)...just keep it up and see what happens. I'll bet even if the scales don't tell a pretty story your clothes will…

If you know it's bronchitis...no working out. A little head cold? Go ahead...I'd even say to skip a heavy workout with a chest cold. Drink lots of water, rest and eat right (you can still do that part of your plan!) and like a pp said, set a date to start back up so that you know you won't just say "when I"m better" and…

Wow! You really do look amazing and what an inspiring story...reminds me of Biggest Loser's motto last year "no excuses"!!!! Cause you had almost all of them that you could've used. Great job! P.S. I love Denise Austin and am still using a VHS I bought in 2001!!!! LOL Actually a couple of them. ;)

You know what? When I quit obsessing over all the numbers (including that stupid "if every day were like today" number) I started seeing more results. I stopped exercising insanely and worrying about the number being "under"... I lost weight years ago (and 2 babies ago) following this plan: ::1500 calories per day…
