Surrounding yourself with supportive friends here helps a lot. You find you don't want to let them down as much as you don't want to let yourself down. Just go at your own pace, don't try to sprint to the finish. Work on today, then work on tomorrow. When you falter, don't sweat it. Focus on having more good days than bad…

Awesome! way to go.

Start easy, don't let it become a "diet". Become more active, in every little way. Change the things you put on your food. sauces and toppings add a lot to an ok meal. Change what you snack on, more popcorn, less chips. Go for walks, look into swimming, biking. It does not have to be a crazy gym workout everyday, just…

I make Tilapia a lot, very simple: Place the filets in an oven safe dish. Hit them with some lemon juice first. A pinch of sea salt, a little fresh cracked black pepper and a dash of Chipotle powder. Throw a couple ice cubes in the dish, seal the dish tightly with aluminum foil and place into a 400 degree oven for 15-20…

Seems like the halfway point is toughest. Your body will adapt to the changes you make but it does it slowly, that's why the weight came off fast at first. Once your body figured out what you were doing (1200 calories) it adjusted to expect it. I think our bodies are conditioned to reacting to quick weight loss as an…

I like to hit a bit over on protein since I do more muscle building than activity like running and such. Listen to what your body is telling you. Try to ignore your body telling you to stop for doughnuts but sometimes a craving for red meat is your body's way of letting you know something it needs.

I LIKE FOOD And, I am a bit of an extremist, doing EVERYTHING in a big way. So yes, I totally relate. I have tried to vary the type of workout. Swimming, Tennis, Hiking, Canoeing - You have to adopt an always on the move lifestyle so you can enjoy the indulgences.

I don't even notice it anymore. Actually, until I read your post and thought about it, I did not realize the high pitched ringing. I sleep with a fan going in the room. The noise from the fan washes it out and I sleep fine. It makes the voices harder to hear anyway so that is good. The voices are more distracting anyway.…

When you stop eating fast food and then go back you realize just how bad it really is. I am a big fan of Taco Bell, especially very late at night when I have had a bit too much "fun" but wow do I pay for it the next day.

Progresso soup -> 2 cups of soup (this is a lot, try it) 160 calories. Flavorful and will give you a full feeling. I always put some extra protein in with it.

Fiber One cereal is very tasty and lots of fiber. Low calorie.

The first few days are tough but hang in there. Drink a TON of water. You want to de-tox and flush your system. Don't let yourself get too hungry. Tough it out and it will be no big.

I log to educate myself as I eat different foods. My biggest shock before MFP was just how many calories I consumed daily. It was shocking and easy to correct but you do have to log everything to get the whole picture. I think after a while you kind of get a feel for how many calories you are consuming from experience…

Doing great! Your progress is showing big time!

Look at your daily routine. Look at the exercises you are doing. Is there a definite pattern? It there is, change it. Change it one day, then change it the next. Eat up, eat down, work more work less. You have to fool your body, it is used to your routine. Hitting a wall, Plateau, happens to everyone. This is what works…

Right cross or uppercut would be an appropriate response.
