I would have a snack before shopping or I would buy to much stuff & it would be yummy vs healthy stuff too. I'm lousy at sticking to a list though so if I have a snack before going to the store (like a 100 cal pack of almonds) I eat those drink some water then go shopping.

Just a warning about the chilly cow site locator it is not very accurate at all. The store I buy it at & the flavor I buy it claims aren't available near me. But my freezer disagrees lol

I really like the Bryers delights creamy chocolate ice cream I know it’s kinda plain but it doesn’t feel low cal at all at 270 calories per pint (that seems to be about what one scoop of regular ice cream is) but it is also 20 grams of protein per pint too. I didn’t like the mint chip one tho it was very chalky. I’m also…

I use a vanilla protein drink (premier protein) in my coffee as my cream, eat high protein oikos zero yogurt & lots of chicken all are low enough in calories yet high in protein good luck to you

I think I’m gonna have to do something like that it’s making me crazy I’ve worked so hard to start loosing again & I don’t want to gain it back. Luckily I need additional sodium so frozen meals work with what I need. Thanks for your help

I haven’t been logging on here well just on paper & I decreased from 1500 calories to 1200 but unfortunately I’m at the will of whichever family member is cooking for me so I went from eating high protein meals Pre surgery to a lot of carbs post surgery (pasta is an easy to make meal) I guess I’m just frustrated I’ve…

This is probably more of a side dish than an actual meal but I love it as both. You said Vegetarian not Vegan so I am hoping you don't mind cheese. The recipe is as follows: 2 cups of cooked quinoa, 1/4 cup of crumbled feta, 1 cup baby spinach or arugula, 1/4 cup dried cranberries, 1/4 cup of whole almonds chopped, 1/2 cup…

I weigh myself daily too even though I know I shouldn't but I only count it once every two weeks & when I have less to lose I will switch to monthly for me being in a range is acceptable but should it change considerably I would know to make changes before its too late. I wish I had done this the 1st time I was on here…

Do your best to push through as much as you possibly can. I wish I had instead I kinda gave up when I wan't feeling well & went back on monthly steroids. I allowed my self to gain back 30lbs of the 50 I had lost I am so disappointed in myself for allowing it to happen. But now I'm back on here trying to lose again. Good…

Almond milk is fine just go with which you prefer almond milk or regular milk. But I have to say be very careful following a gluten free diet especially if you really don't need I have found especially in the processed items they have a high sugar content. One of my GS after being gluten free (for need) for several yrs…

I say talk to your Dr. I don't know what you are taking for meds but many of my friends with crohn's disease are taking steriods or steriod based medicines & those often cause weight gain. So in my humble opinion talking to your doctor about your weight concerns would be your best bet.

I'm 5 ft even & was doing good for a while (had lost 50 lbs) but this winter killed me I gained 20 back :( but now with the better weather & the fact I still have 50 to lose I could use some firends & motivation to keep me on track. So anyone can feel free to add me.

I also hate running my Dr told me the my flat feet are likely the reason for the pain I have to deal with when I run although my hip which I had major surgery on may be part of that issue too. Then my asthma is also running induced so I feel your pain when you say you can't run & everyone else that is saying you mean won't…
