How awesome is that?! Good for you!

Ugh I do that too! Kid food is always way better than the diet stuff I'm eating! :ohwell:
-
Welcome, stick with it! :flowerforyou:

Oh really?! I'm going to try that. I usually don't eat the extra calories. Thanks for the tip!:flowerforyou:

This site is great. It keeps you honest. Best of luck to you!

I hear ya! I dropped out for a while too, and got back into it today. Good luck to you, and keep in touch!

:flowerforyou: Dieting totally sucks. It really is a life style change. Everytime you want to binge, talk to yourself. Tell yourself you are worth more than a binge. I find exercise is the key to maintaining. When I exercise, I am able to eat like a normal person. (not weigh and measure everything) :ohwell: I wish you…

Perfect, thanks very much.

Does anyone know of a website that I could plug in a homemade recipie and the website would do an indiviual serving size nutritianal breakdown?

To be honest I struggle too. I find that a personal trainer kicks my butt and keeps me in tip top shape. They are expensive, and you might not be able to see one weekly, but even once a month, will keep you on track. Good luck, you can do this!

This is a good place to get group support. It also keeps you honest with your diet! Good luck to you! :flowerforyou:

Excellent words of wisdom! I hope someone out there hears you.

It was down for me too.

We usually get Freihoffer's 100%whole wheat. It's delish! I'm not real thrilled with low cal bread, so we just go for the whole wheat and know it's good for us.

30 minutes is a long time to me also! You just ran your 1st 5K and that is big! Congrats!

Without question, I would choose a cook! I am bad in the kitchen. Housework is something that should be done, but eating right MUST be done. I seem to make good choices all day while at work, then I get home and fall apart.

Basically I'd say all the same things you want in a good man is what most women want, which will make finding a good one challenging. Just know you can't change them so once you know they aren't making the grade, you need to make the cut. :flowerforyou: You'll find him.....he's out there.

Just be accurate, and dedicated, and you'll do very well. Anything you need, just ask, and usually someone can help. Good luck!

I am addicted to Diet Coke! It replaces cake, cookies, and any other fattening pleasure I've had to do away with. : ) I used to have 4 a day, and I'm down to one. I'll let you know if it helps me lose weight.

Oh cool. I didn't even know MFP had a chat room. Thanks!

I think your success will begin with your attitude. Change your thinking to one of I will/I can, in place of this sucks/I can't. Everytime a negative thought comes into your head regarding food, you feel bad. Don't do that to yourself. Think good thoughts and feel good. Feeling good will keep you motivated to do well, and…

Welcome, and good luck to you on your fitness journey!

Wow, not sure I could have exercised the same restraint! Good for you!

The only way I am able to keep weight off is counting calories and running. I hate doing both. I would have thought 150 push-ups would have been at least 150 calories!
-
Way to go hisangel! That's awesome! Now doesn't that feel better?! : ) My weight is down also, and it's keeping me motivated to continue on.

I feel like I could wait until 10am for breakfast, but after that, the gloves are off and I eat all day long. I definately snack between meals. Most of my snacks are things like Carrots and hummus, Detour bars, cheese sticks, Dannon low carb yogurt. And usually if my eating is heavier than normal, I'll take an extra walk…

Hi John, welcome to the site.

Hi! This site is very helpful. Good luck!

I once read that you just need to keep under a certain amount of calories within a 24 hour period. The article said it didn't matter if you ate all 1200 calories at the 23rd hour of the day, just not to exceed the daily limit. I have also read that we should stop eating in the early evening simply because we don't move…

Has anyone tried the Yoga Booty Ballet dvd's? They are really fun. : )
