Great idea. So often we are so concerned about our weight loss we forget that some of our muscles are going through atrophy due to lack of use. (a bit exagerted but I think you get my point) I start adding weights to my workouts next week so for me I am going to go for a pull up and might as well go for a dip as well. I am…

I weigh myself on Wed & Thursday. I log the lowest weight of those 2 days. Always the same scale and time. I occasionally will weigh myself on the weekend but do not worry about the results.

Have you thought of trying to make it a fun family competition. The girls (you & Mom) vs Dad (you said he is gung ho). Maybe mom would love to kick Dad's a**! You would have to be creative with the competitions within the competition. For example person with fewest minutes excercised during the week cooks a meal choosen by…

Well it is very easy to say "eat what you want" but not the best idea. I would say enjoy your day with whatever food is there but do not binge. Have a hamburger without the cheese, have a lite beer, have a small slice of cake, have a small bowl of chips. I think you get my drift ... portion control. Another thing to do is…

Hey Robert, try looking at in a differant lite. Ate 1000 - 500 burned = net 500 calorie lunch. Cut out your late night snack and you will probally be on track!!! Do not beat yourself up, live and learn and keep remembering your goals!

Great job! Challenge - late night snack < 250 calories

Former Canadian National swim team member here. The advice I like to give to people is the following 1) Count your strokes per length of the pool. The fewer strokes the more efficient you are. 2) On freestyle concentrate on catching the water with your hand, pull your hand all the way back to your hips well maintaining…
